Fun and beautiful game
This is the first game we’ve played with this card collection mechanism. It wasn’t hard to learn, two plays and we were already anticipating strategy, and the materials are sturdy and attractive.

Lovely Game
Plays well with 2-4 players. It is just beautiful on the table. Game play is great. Plus they have an appendix that talks about each card, so it is educational too. I have probably 70 games and this is in my top 5 for sure!

Gorgeous production and fun and easy to learn
This game is the best! It’s got a bit of strategy, making when to play what card critical at times (for the best score). But it’s super fun and approachable for everyone. I played with younger kids and just let them disregard the requirements to add cards and it worked great. This game is so gorgeous! and there is a booklet that tells about each plant and animal in the cards which can be used as a learning tool too.LOVE LOVE LOVE

Phenomenal Game!
This is a gem of a game! If you are at all interested in nature you can't go wrong with this one. The artwork is amazing and no two cards are alike. Not only is the theme incredible, but the flow of the game is fantastic. Lots of options and yet it doesn't see to lead to analysis paralysis like some games can. Our games have been close, but a good part of the fun is building your meadow with so many interesting creatures. It really is the best "Goldilocks" game we've played--it's not too long or too short, it's not too easy or too complicated, it really is "just right." Tremendous replayability. If you enjoy Everdell or Wingspan, I'm pretty confident you would enjoy this game at least as much if not more. It's a keeper!

Beautiful to Look At, and Fun to Play
In Meadow, each player is building a tableau of cards which replicate the ecosystem of a meadow, starting with the various types of terrain, plants, insects, reptiles and amphibians, all the way to top-of-the-food- chain predators, like hawks and wolves. Evidence of human presence is also reflected by cards representing roads, houses, and even interesting artifacts left behind. The art in this game is amazing! Some of the animals pictured are so cute you just want to hug them! The gameplay is challenging, but not overly so. The player always has several options to choose from. The game looks great, and plays great. It has become one of my favorites!

Fun to Play Again and Again
We’ve played Meadow several times with different groups of people. It’s a little difficult to teach because there are so many ways to take a turn, but it’s hours of fun once you’re comfortable with the rules. The artwork is also adorable. My only complaint is that a 4 player game runs a little too long for most people, but you can always decide to end the game sooner.

Easy to Learn and Addictive
We got this game on based on a recommendation from my daughter before we headed off on a month-long trip. In the month we’ve had the game, we’ve played it over 20 times. We’ve already gotten our money’s worth. In addition to being fun to play, the setup and takedown are particularly easy. We have other games that take a good bit of time getting things ready. This is not that. You can get to the gameplay almost immediately.
