Expectation Management
Ok, so this is all about expectation management.1) The teapot has white dots all over it that look very subtle in the product photos (see my photo). This reflects the item as shown on Blue Sky’s website. It’s not what I wanted, but it’s on the end of the world.2) As some other reviews have mentioned, it’s functionality as a teapot isn’t great. The spigot doesn’t provide a clean pour. The top opening is small enough to make filling it a deliberate task and and hard to remove tea bags. Lastly, it doesn’t hold heat at all.If you’re looking for a cool display item, know you’re getting polka dots. If you’re looking for a functioning teapot, skip this.

My kraken is cracked!
There is a huge crack in the teapot arm at the base. It should not have been sent out. I can’t give this to my friend in this defective state. I’m very unhappy with this purchase.

Not useful as a tea pot. Decorative use only!
Though the quality is good, it is quite useless as a tea pot! This a decorative piece. There isn’t anyway to retrieve tea bags or sufficiently clean the interior. “Dust Collector”
