I was a little sceptical purchasing but with free returns thought I’d give it a go… I’m very pleased! I suffer with a slipped disc which gives radiating pain around my middle, thought a good posture would be helpful for a start not to relieve my pain but hopefully help ! This is great , it’s comfortable to wear & definitely hold you straighter & brings your shoulders back & reminds you to do so , I am a sloucher & wear it around the house & would be good for desk work sat down, easy to wear & adjust as needed, looking forward to continuing use of it , it’s helping a lot ! Very happy , simple but effective ! I would recommend 👍, worn over or under clothes

I’ve developed a very bad posture in general, particularly working at my desk at home. It got to the point where my shoulders, neck and collarbone area were so painful, it was affecting my work. My physio recommended I get a posture support asap and I gave this one a go. I didn’t want to spend too much money and wanted something that would give me discreet support, in case I had to wear it out under a jacket or something. It’s really easy to use, you literally out it on like a backpack, then pull the velcro straps to where you want in order to get the best support. Your shoulders should feel pulls back and which makes you naturally fall into a good posture. At first, it felt weird and the straps under my arms were very uncomfortable but the instructions included tell you to put it on for 15mins, take it off, then put it back on a bit later. This way, your body gets used to it gradually. I put it on and off for the 1st day and by the 2nd day I was wearing it all day at my desk. My posture has definitely improved and when I take it off at the end of the work day, I don’t feel any pain like I used to and it feels great! I will continue to use this until my posture has improved without me being conscious about it and even then I’ll probably still use it every now and again. Highly recommend you try it!

After migrating to a full time desk job, I started to experience back and neck pain being sat in front of screens all day. Following advice about eye distance, and even upgrading my chair with proper lumber and neck support worked for a little while, but i still found myself slouching or leaning forward ever so slightly whilst seated at the desk, creating what can only be described as crooked neck, and further pain in the back. I decided to try this product in order to aid my posture. Wearing this product for a good 20-30 minutes every few hours is perfect for re-establishing my posture. It has taken so much strain away, and means I can focus more of my time working, and less aching followed by having to readjust my seating position. This posture correction is great, and unlike some other products it comes with Velcro straps making it quite easy to put on, adjust, and remove when finished wearing it. It also comes with a larger strap should you have a requirement for it. The reason I suggest only wearing it 20-30 minutes at a time is because it can cause you to rely on it too much, which I don't think is the intention. I believe its to create muscle memory, not act as a muscle restraint for all day wearing. I haven't yet worn it whilst lifting weights, but I can definitely imagine doing so, and feeling the impact and difference that it will make to my posture doing that as well. Any form of exercise, whether walking, running, or simply standing for long periods will cause you to slouch at some point - this product is perfect for reducing and even avoiding that too! Buy it, and you won't be disappointed!

Know first of all, that it works. And it is not too expensive. Being so light, it can be fiddly to fit or put on, especially if your rotational mobility in your arms is not as good as it might be? Also it has extension straps for bigger people, and I am one. These straps are "velcro" extensions and can detach with tension when adjusting; and you need that tension for any efficacy. I am 6'4" and 48" chest, and I needed the extensions. Once that tension is on, it can become uncomfortable under the arms; but the instructions do warn the wearer to limit the time wearing the harness initially. But.......it does seem to be working (ie pulling my shoulders back and improving my posture) and it cost less the £15 delivered, so nothing to complain about!

It has been pointed out by my nearest and dearest that I walk around with a bit of a pronounced slump forwards and seem to have permanently hunched shoulders. So, I thought I'd buy this as a first attempt at doing something about it. Tbh, I probably haven't been wearing it as often as I should, but it has been noted that when I've not been wearing it, I do seem to have some improvement to my posture. I sort of feel the need to pull my shoulders back for a few hours after taking it off. I think if I wore it more often, it'd be even better. It's easy to put on and adjust, and fairly comfortable to wear, although if you're moving around a lot I find it can chafe under the arms a little bit - but that seems to be a factor in all the similarly designed supports. It doesn't bother me particularly though. My kids laugh at me when I wear it, calling it a 'man-bra', but it is easily hidden under a jumper. Overall, I'd recommend it - especially for the money.

After a couple of years of working from home (and not taking proper care of my posture) I've started to become rather round shouldered and was experiencing a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders when sitting down at night and when sleeping. I decided on trying this product having read the reviews and certainly was not disappointed. I find it easy to put on, and comfortable enough to easily wear for the recommended two hours - I do this each morning when at my desk, then find that I do actually sit better for the rest of the day. The pain in my shoulders and neck has also largely gone after just a couple of weeks, and I am sleeping much better. The only reason it hasn't got a five star rating from me is the sizing - I'm actually a fairly small build (30inch rib cage), and whilst I can get it tight enough to work, it's only just. I also got a lovely letter from the seller not long after purchasing (a small business owner, not some random conglomerate), just to check that everything was OK, so the customer service has also been brilliant!

After working for over 30 years as a teacher my posture was not very good - all that crouching over a desk marking work, preparing lessons, writing reports. Consequently I've suffered with a bad back as well as a continual slouch. Now that I've retired I thought it was time to sort this out and straighten myself up a bit. After a lot of research I came across the Schiara posture corrector. It looked well priced so well worth taking a punt. I've been wearing it for up to two hours a day for a few weeks now and it is making a real difference. I've had to work with it - wearing it reminds you what shape your back and shoulders should be in so it gradually creates muscle memory for a good posture. I'm now finding that when I'm not wearing it I can still maintain a good posture - so it's working. And it's helping with back pain - this is slowly going. I'm a 5ft 8ins male so not the tallest, but after years of slouching I now feel taller and more confident so I'm really pleased with this piece of equipment.

I appreciate everyone is a different shape. It is designed to pull your shoulders back- which it does. But only one star I'm afraid, as its impossible to get it on without help. It needs to be tight, but it is extremely uncomfortable where the edges bite into your armpits, so it has to be worn over a tee-shirt or similar. Also, over time, the back part rides upwards and pushes your neck forward.

Expensive for the quality

Es muy fácil de usar. Se ajusta con velcros. Tiene que estar tenso pero no incomodo. Yo he empezado con 20 min al día, y voy subiendo unos 5 min a la semana. Según las instrucciones, no se recomienda usarlo más de dos horas seguidas. De momento, noto alivio al ponérmelo y me lo pongo sobre la ropa. Noto una ligera molestia en la axila, pero nada que no se pueda soportar. Te "obliga" a corregir la postura y a mantenerte mas erguido. Entiendo que es algo que se notará a largo plazo, así que me lo tomo con paciencia.

ho comprato questo prodotto per due motivi: volevo provare per capire se poteva aiutarmi con il mio dolore alle spalle e per il prezzo abbastanza economico. Devo dire che il prodotto in se è ben fatto e abbastanza pratico da usare e, rispetto alle mie aspettative, devo dire che funziona anche. Ovvio dopo un po' che lo indosso mi dà un certo fastidio ma la sensazione di alleggerimento sulle spalle e di miglioramento nella postura rimane per un bel po' anche dopo averlo tolto. L'ideale è usarlo con una maglietta leggera (o una tuta) quindi purtroppo lo posso usare solo un po' alla sera quando sono a casa. Comunque nel complesso mi ritengo soddisfatto.
