JetLine Z-TORCH Dual Flame Black Black Lighter

My wife has given me some expensive torch lighters as presents. They were all great--while they lasted. Within a year or two they stopped working and have been deposited in a draw as a reminder that price does not mean quality.A friend turned me on to these JetLine Z-Torch lighters and am I glad he did. The only reason I bought a new one is that I'm pretty sure I left my other one at someone's house. My first one worked year after year. I never had a problem. Never had to purge it. This is a great lighter at any price, and at this price it can't be beat.

I was just looking for a lighter to go with the hand warmer I purchased recently from Sundance Catalog and came across this lighter that seemed to fit the bill. It's actually a pretty nice lighter (for the cost). It lights reliably and has a nice double flame. Nice feature that I wasn't aware of: you can remove the odd looking plastic grips to make the lighter look like a nice gun metal zippo (don't get too excited, it's no zippo). Delivery was prompt and it came in a nice little. Overall, very pleased.

Good product

Based on the first week of use, I have to say I'm disappointed. There are 2 problem areas - first, the adjustment screw for the flame doesn't work right; second, the valve for refilling the lighter with butane seems to leak badly. Maybe I'm just not doing it right, but I've tried to figure out a way to refill & just seem to keep getting leaks. Also, I can't tell how much butane is getting in - probably not much since the lighter doesn't keep the flame for long.

This is a great lighter if you live out doors it will light anything flammable in any condition. I use it often in the shop as well as in the woods. I bought it for a motorcycle trip from Key west to Deadhorse Alaska and it was always ready for what ever we through at it.
