I used it to regenerate my skin and improve its appearance.There are plenty of dos and don'ts when using this kind of device, so I suggest doing your research first.Basically, what this device does is stimulate collagen production, bring out new skin cells, and repair the damage.If it is your first time using this kind of device, I suggest using it at night as your skin might get red; especially if you have sensitive skin, use the level 0 to 0.25 on a small part of your skin. Your skin must be free from acne. Otherwise, the bacteria can spread and make your skin condition worse.Our skin regenerates typically 3 to 5 days, so it is safe to say that this can be used 1 to 2 times a week, but I suggest using it once a week for first-timers. Hygiene is essential, so never share the needles with other people, even your special someone.Set your device by attaching the needs to the device. You can twist the knob on the device's neck. You can select from 0 to 2mm, which determines the depth at which the needle will penetrate your skin.Wash your face before using it. Use it on a small portion of the skin without pressing it. You'll feel the needles pressing in your skin. The pain depends on your pain tolerance, so I suggest setting the device in minimum depth and strength. Use serums like Vit C and hyaluronic acid after use. And wash the needles with soap.The bloodier, the better, but don't press it on the skin to prevent skin damage.It could have been helpful if it comes with a needle cover to keep the needle clean. Something like this derma pen kit should definitely involve you researching how to use it safely beforehand. I have very sensitive skin after trying varieties of treatment for my acne. I now only have scars and rarely spots, which is ideal for this product, really.I found the product really lacked good instructions on how to use it, I would highly recommend either speaking to a professional, or watching some YouTube videos. The product itself is great quality, it is slim, easy to hold and lightweight. I tested it with the lowest needle depth and progressed up to what I felt comfortable with. I found the whole process pretty easy and painless, and the anxiety of using it faded quite quickly. My skin was red for the rest of the day, but fine afterward. I am using the 1mm depth treatment, so I have been using it every 2 weeks, I can see improvement to my scarring and will definitely continue to use it to hopefully see more improvement!

Still no answer to my question as cannot buy the needles for this pen and I brought two of them

Fantastic quality derma pen kit. It’s great it is portable allows for use in the bathroom and such as bathrooms usually don’t have mains cabling. Most kits I’ve seen require a mains adaptor and aren’t portable. It is a powerful device. The only let down is the rotating part which selects what ‘mm’ you want to choose as this doesn’t lock this has the potential to change during use, so you could go from 0.25mm on a sensitive area of the skin to a 1mm which could damage it. It’s also quite expensive and doesn’t come with a travel bag or pouch which was also disappointing. A good kit kit but could be improved.

I have long hesitated to try Microneedling. At the beautician, the treatment was simply too expensive for me. I decided to try this Dermapen treatment as I have a few post-acne scars and hyperpigmentations.It's best to start with the lowest needle depth. To do this, I removed the needle attachment from the sterile packaging and slid it into the pen. I used rubbing alcohol to sterilize the needle. I cleansed my face and applied vitamin C serum. The procedure itself was totally painless. After the treatment, my face was very red but the next day it was totally fine.It is a professional grade product that is far superior to the standard dermarollers available and allows for much deeper penetration. The DermaPen ranges from 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm needle lengths and offers five different speed settings, allowing for maximum control of the device. It is well constructed and is far more cost-effective than having professional treatments.I only used it once since I got it and I can't tell if it's effective. I will update my review after a few weeks.

I didn’t know how to use it right and the instructions are not that clear, it lacks of information on how to use the device, but it does say how to turn it on and how to keep it.It comes with two packs of needle, but I wouldn’t say it’s great for beginners because I tried and found it too painful and couldn’t take it, on the other hand a friend tried and said it was fine for her so I guess it depends on how sensitive your skin is.My friend did like the product so for that reason I do recommend it but I would only buy if your sure you can handle it

small compact and easy to hold, the pen charges quick and holds the charge well, the needles are easy to change good value

Second one I bought from Amazon - and lo and behold it doesn’t work! Super disappointing. I think it might be time to buy one from a recognised brand. Shame!
