Bought this for my son to use in marching band. Held up pretty well. Easy to clean. Great size. Kept his water cold for much of the day. Sealed well.

There's no gasket in the lid so it drips everytime you lift it to drink. Its not a lot and my daughter still loves it. Since she uses it for athletics, shes sweaty anyway so a few drops doesn't bother her... but it would if she was wearing regular clothes.

I really enjoy this cooler and use it every day. The size is perfect and it’s lightweight, and I even decorated mine because I liked it so much. It’s not super insulated, so ice doesn’t last very long, but it still keeps drinks cool enough for work and everyday use. I liked it so much I sent one to my sister. My only issue is that the lid/closure piece broke, and now I can’t carry it with me like I used to. The jug itself is still in great shape, so it’s disappointing that the lid didn’t hold up. I’d really love to keep using this one — if Igloo offers replacement lids, I would definitely appreciate one. Just want to keep my cute decorated jug going!

My review of Igloo Retro 1/2 Gallon Jug, (purchase June 2025) This product is and was a piece of junk!!! The product made me so mad I just threw it away. Here was the issue...the spout was made so you could not install the flip cover properly. Mine came off while washing it. There were 2 round nubs on both sides of the flip cap. They were too wide and too large to fit into the cover. I tried for a few minutes to put it back on but it would not stay in place. Then I thought it may be too large so I measured it and measured the notch in the cover. They were totally off center. There would be no way of putting it back on. Maybe that's why it came off so easily. In any case, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I use this down the mine in some very hot places and it's brilliant ice stays frozen for 12+ hours, doesn't leak either which is good, quick delivery I'd buy again if I needed to thanks

Al principio me asusté por qué venía súper sucia y manchada tenía miedo de que no se le quitará y estaba tan empolvada que era terrible la lave muy bien y gracias a Dios se le quitó tengan cuidado con eso por favor limpien sus productos a un que sea sacudanlos antes de empacar. Respecto al producto si funciona bien no se le sale el agua tiene capacidad para 1.8litro el envío fue rápido.

I love this so much and get so many compliments but unfortunately it does leak a little bit out of the lid. As long as it’s upright it’s great!
