Better than is obvious...
I find it hard to believe I am writing this, this switch has given me the run around for about 8 months. However, it really all boils down to chronically bad documentation. This is a Zigbee switch. It does not need WiFi, or BlueTooth, just Zigbee. It requires a gateway, BUT NO REGISTRATION.At this point, if the following makes no sense... this device is probably not for you. This is a Zigbee switch. It works well with HomeAssistant(containerized), it works with the SONOFF USB Generic gateway. I have found it really NEEDS zigbee2MQTT. However, you will find the Blueprints to use it are also a bit hit and miss. It's a TS004f switch for those who know what that means.I have finally sided with the manual approach, defining an automation manually for MQTT:topic = zigbee2mqtt/<DevName>/actionpayload=1_single or 2_single, or 1_double, or 2 double, etc. This seems to work happily and is actually much simpler than fighting the blueprint route. As a zigbee device YOU DO NOT NEED any of the TuYa apps, even though it comes from the Tuya ecosystem. You don't need TuyaLocal, or any device integrations for HA. The documentation is FAR from clear on this and led me a merry dance. the Tuya App is far from easy to get setup. YOU DON'T NEED IT.Just go with Z2M. I would recommend using the z2m web interface to firstly confirm the mqtt traffic arrival, secondly get the device name. Then you can find it in the HA logs, and write your automation using the name. This seems to be a rather GOOD PRODUCT, shockingly let down by atrocious documentation and dodgy integration modules. My advice, do it manually. It'll take you 20 minutes probably, although it took me better part of a man week to work that out.

Dont Waste Your Time
It wont connect to most platforms, It will connect to home assistant but it wont respond in the way it should, there is no support for smartthings or hubitat. It will conect to tuya but it wont talk to any other intergrations...
