I got 2 of these for camping. I use one in the tent porch, and one in the bedroom. They are amazingly bright! Too bright in fact - I use them on the lowest setting usually. They are bright enough to read by, and cast the light a good distance all around, rather than spotlighting as a torch would do. The light is a cool white, not yellowy at all. The little hooks are really handy for hanging the lights off things in your tent, and the lights don't get hot, so it doesn't matter if they are up against the side of the tent or fall over. As the lights lose power, they don't just go off completely, they gradually go dimmer, so you do get some warning that they are running out of juice and need recharging. In two weeks, I only charged the lights once, but I probably used them for less than one hour each night. You can charge them from a USB power bank, or better still a plug in charger. The cable you need is supplied. Don't lose it! It's not a micro USB so you can't swap the cable for the one you use for your phone. I fastened the cable to the hook so I couldn't lose it. I have had a lot of different camping lights over the years. These are by far the best lights I have bought. They are quite bulky, but they weigh almost nothing. Make space in your kit for them, they're worth it.

Compact, easy to use and good light level

I bought these for each of my sheds, but since then, I've used them for everything. They are very bright but this brightness comes in 3 degrees of light. They are light in weight, unbreakable, rechargeable, fabulous in every way. My family are going to order some for when they go camping.

Excellent product that has been put to use in a covered seating area at the top of the garden. Simple to set up and use. The batteries are still working well and the light is bright enough. Excellent value.

Great lights with 3 choices of brightness. Very short rechargeable wires. Only negative was one light arrived without a hanging hook. (I've got something similar I can use).

An easy recommendation, they give off a great light. Not too bright and I could easily and safely find my way to the loos in the pitch dark. I love these little lanterns because they charge fast and hold their charge for ages. Literally from one camping trip to the next one a few weeks later. Brilliant buy!

I bought these after Storm Arwen left me without power for almost a week. My camping light that I had was OK but not very bright. Like the camping light I already had these lights rechargeable via a USB connection so can be recharged in the car. I'm impressed with how bright they are so they will be great for camping trips and if I get any more power cuts. A pack of two is handy as well as it means I can have one light in the awning and the other inside the van so I don't need to keep moving the one light. A great investment for the camping kit for not a lot of money.

Nous venons de tester ces 2 lanternes Ledeak pendant notre dernier séjour en camping-car, et franchement, on est conquis !Les 500 lumens, ce n'est pas du marketing ! Même en mode "doux", ça éclaire vraiment bien notre table de pique-nique. En mode max, c'est ultrapuissant, parfait pour s'orienter la nuit. On les a utilisées environ 3-4h par soir pendant 4 jours avant de devoir les recharger. Très satisfaisant pour ce prix !
