Charleston Chew .65 Oz. Bars, Vanilla, 36-Count Box

I thought it was a case of shrinkflation, but these are just a different size bar than normal and I hadn’t paid attention when ordering.These are great tasting and the smaller size means less calories. (Unless you eat 2 or 3 at a time like I sometimes do.).

Delicious candy I remember from my childhood. Taste \just as good now as they did back then. Glad I bought this box, it is a great value. Highly recommended candy when simplicity was standard.

All pieces were like fresh off the shelf. Delicious. Great size. Handy storage box. Will buy again.

It's vanilla nougat (whatever nougat is, it's delicious) covered in chocolate. You get like 36 of them, it's awesome. While the taste is good they do seem to be quite stale compared to the mini ones I can buy at the store. Such is the price I pay for getting a bunch of Charleston Chews on Amazon. They're about as skinny as mini Charleston Chews, but like 5 times longer. But yeah they're good and I like them. Just be aware that they're better if you buy 'em fresh

The media could not be loaded. Half of these are open which made one end hard as a rock and hard to chew. And these are much smaller than I thought they were going to be.

Everyone single one in the box is a gross mess! The wrappers are completely stuck to every inch of the chocolate and exposed marshmallow making them completely inedible, unless you want to eat that yellow paper that is used to wrap these individually. This wasn’t an issue of them just getting warm on the truck. I’ve seen that scenario many times and when that happens you just let the chocolate sit in your house/. Instead of each one of these being rectangular/ in shape, which is what they should be, each Charleston chew is a flat and empty feeling package. It’s obvious that these were exposed to extremely hot heat and it took place a while ago, well beyond the time just prior to delivery. That’s why the wrappers are completely plastered and glued to every inch of the chocolate. Seriously, it’s like the wrapper and chocolate are just fused together into one. I tried with a few of them and the outer paper material just keeps ripping and then the rest is stuck to the chocolate and marshmallow that’s a gooey and sticky, unusable mess. Overall, I’m just really disappointed and let down :( Chelation cues are one of my all time favorite sweets from when I was a kid and after adding this product to my sub and save, waiting nearly a month and what shows up is the opposite of what I had hoped for. The fact that these are inedible, I would never purchase these again and at this moment Im working to get my money back.

I am sixty nine years old and have been eating those things since I was a kid and they still are just as good as ever
