Good quality cup of tea
I was initially going to rate this one star but that was only because I was an idiot and a creature of habit. Normally when I steep my tea using the bags (namely Bigelow), I just leave the bag in for the remaining time I'm drinking my tea and it tastes perfectly fine. So I attempted to do the same thing here with this loose leaf tea and it kept coming out bitter. I turned down the temperature of the water and that didn't help.So I put on my thinking hat (🙄) and did some research. The result of my research is that, ideally, you should boil to 212°F (I went down to 201°F just to play it safe), use 1tsp of tea leafs and steep for 2-4 minutes (I did 2 minutes to play it safe). I followed that and the tea came out perfectly. What I was doing wrong before was I was steeping it for way too long. And my guess with the 1 star reviews for this product is these folks made similar mistakes that I did. I know my review is pointing out the obvious to seasoned tea drinkers, but this review is for the silly geese such as myself.Btw I love that this came in a tin. I love tins. My only qualm is that it's not a decorative enough tin for my tastes. I can't display this tin as artwork later. :( Oh well.

Nothing Stands Out
OK black tea. Don't know how it should taste, though.

Really good
I've had really good earl grey teas from tea bags. This is my first experience with loose leaf earl grey and I'm not disappointed. It's so divine, relaxing, soothing, fresh, full of flavor, sublime. Some of the best tea I've ever drank in my life no joke. You can not double brew this stuff though. I'm guessing since it has bergamot added, after the first brew it tastes like watered down tea. Still it's a lot of tea even at single brew, the tin is also nice.Would recommend, would purchase again. 👍👍
