This is just what I wanted. I have medium/long hair and wanted something that could hold my hair behind my ears and survive a 12 hour work shift in hot, dry indoor temperatures without making me look like a hobo. I'd previously used another brand oil based pomade but hated the hassle of getting the stuff out of my hair. This holds my hair in a perfectly natural looking hair and washes out easily with just water. The texture is just right, it can be applied through the hair easily and the smell is not at all unpleasant to me. I plan on trying a few other brands of water-based pomade before settling for the long term on a particular product, but this is an early front-runner for that for me.

Best water based pomade on the market!. Gives me a hard set up but is still comb through. I mix it with a bit of murrays super light and it gives me a bit of shine on a matte finsh. If I comb it after styled and dried I get a nice dry look that holds and reombs nicely. I enjoy the smell and it is not overpowering or conflict with my aftershave.

Was looking for a cheaper replacement to Victory Brand extra dry matte. This works very well. Holds hair in place all day and doesn’t require an excessive amount. Not a dry texture but is moist.

My favorite hair product. No itchy scalp from using this and I love that it is water based and rinses out easy. No residue or flakes.

Been buying Layrite since 2007 but prices have increased so much i started trying different brands and Tip Top is a great alternative. I love it so because it feels very natural and is not sticky.

This has been my favourite water based pomade for a number of years now. Very easy to work with. Having gray/whiteish hair it’s also a bonus for me that this product is not dark. I have had some darker pomades stain my hair a bit. Nice medium hold and washes out with no effort.

Great product (Especially when combined with hair spray) Smells good. Water soluble. Recommended!
