Anchor Hocking Fire-king 16 Oz Glass Measuring Cup

Great product! Sent back the pyrex brand version as that one splashed all over the place when pouring. This one doesn't! A versatile, valuable addition to your kitchen toolkit!

Good quality. Heavy duty. I like the spout...helps keep liquids pouring the right direction.

Perfect measuring cup! It’s well made and gets the job done!

As a lefty this is perfect. I got tired of turning my measuring cup round to read the measurements. As a single handed person with only a left hand living in a right handed world this was a dream come true.

My wife and I bought these measuring cups and the writing on the side of the cups began to come off. We called the manufacturer and they responded very quickly and indicated that they don’t recommend using Lemi Shine in the dishwasher because it will etch off the writing. They immediately sent out replacement measuring cups for us to use and we have not had a problem ever since.

Order fulfillment went smoothly but with one exception. I ordered the AH Fire King one cup measure because I wanted to have a completed set. Unfortunately I received a standard Anchor Hocking measure without the Fire King logo. I was able to do a return authorization and exchange and was sent a replacement immediately, no problem.Unfortunately the replacement was also a standard Anchor Hocking without the Fire King logo. Customer service has been very helpful; but I’ve decided to wait a few weeks and see if they can straighten out inventory and provide the measures with the Fire King logo.There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the cups sent to me - the markings are correct, measurement is consistent with other brand measures and checks out on my scale in both metric and imperial weights as far as holding the proper amount of any ingredient, wet or dry. They’re nice looking, easy to read, easily cleaned, microwave/dishwasher safe, heavy duty and good for years of service provided you don’t drop them on concrete. They’re Anchor Hocking glass – made in the US and built tough.The only problem is that the logo is incorrect, so they’re on their way back to Amazon first thing in the morning.Both cup measures that I received are shown below with the quart and two cup measures that have the correct logo, for comparison. The correct logo is also showing in the listing images as well as discussed in the description. As you can see, not a match.I know I sound whiny because I’m constantly repeating that; but the logo is my primary reason for purchasing this particular measure. I just want a completed set! 🙂

Nice sturdy, easy to read measuring cup. The only diference from the "old time Pyrex" is the open handle (which is easier to access if you have big hands).I don't know why some reviews complain of the spout being a problem: I find this cup pours cleanly and does not "dribble".

This is Great for meassuring.It is one of the few top brands which have measurements info for both sides of the atlantic.Very usefull. Makes it much easier to follow recipies you find on the internet and/or books:)
