Q: may i use a spray bottle for sofa cleaning?

This is from the bissell website:can be used on carpet, area rugs, upholstery, and other similar soft surfaces. It works great on stubborn stains and underlying odors in heavily soiled areas around your home.

Q: one of the reviews said to fill the reservoir to the 2x level I didnt see a 2 X level on my reservoir so how much would I use

If your machine is a "2X" machine, then just fill it to the fill line marked on the reservoir. If it's not a "2X" machine, I think you might need to use 1/2 the amount. I would test it and see how it cleans.

Q: How does this work on normal household carpet spots, not from pets?

This is the best carpet cleaner I've ever used. I just finished cleaning a 4000 sq/ft house for sale. Carpet was 22 years old!! Used my Bissell steam Cleaner. Amazing stuff.
