Dunhill Driven Eau de Parfum

Like a few people before me have already commented on it, the first thing that I thought when I opened the box and saw the bottle was that it reminded me a bottle for ink! This is something quite fascinating to start with, as I never had any such thoughts about any other fragrances I've bought for me in the past! The smoke grey bottle is very elegant and has a nice black stopper to keep things in place! Now, we're not here to judge the bottle though! What did I think of the perfume? First of all, this is the eau de parfum, which means that it has a higher concentration of fragrance to start with compared to eau de toilette. Therefore, one has to be careful how (and how much) to apply it! The fragrance itself is what I'd call a light, citrus fragrance with a woody hint! Now, this might not mean anything to some of you...allow me to elaborate though. The light, citrus base of the fragrance allows for it to be worn throughout the day, even to one's office or business meeting. The heavier, woody notes make an excellent going out fragrance. So, one could argue that this is a perfect combination of both; but it is all in the application as well, but I am not going to go there! When testing it, I put some on the pulse points, namely my wrists and a little bit on the neck, as I wanted to smell how different this perfume smelled compared to my normal one. The smell was pleasant and not overpowering and it lasted for a good 5-6 hours, when most likely I stopped discerning the scent! Overall, I found this perfume to be a nice alternative to some other competing perfumes. Is it ground-breaking? No, it is not. Is it competitive, cost-wise? Well, it is directly comparable to other established perfumes. So, what would make someone buy this one over others? Perhaps, the feature that it can be worn any time of day/night offering a dash of elegance!

I like wearing this and my wife loves the scent on me. I'd say the fragrance is sophisticated, opulent and genteel. It makes me feel fresh and stylish. It is very energising. It isn't overpower when used moderately. The scent lasts all day and still detectable the next morning. This is a scent I'd wear daily quite happily. But I feel it is better for special occasions due to how it makes me feel. I like the bottle. It looks great and feel good in my grip. I'd get this again certainly.

Love the strong smell and cute bottle. It lingered even after a couple of hours. Has a really strong smell.

I was kind of uncertain about buying this perfume for my husband as I have never tried it before. The scent is not an overpowering scent, it’s just right for all occasions. Dunhill Driven is a woody floral citrus fragrance with top notes of bergamot, lime, plum and a red apple. The spice and floral heart notes blend in with jasmine rose, cardamom and cinnamon while the deep woody and amber base notes leave an impression of amber, musk, Amyris, vanilla and cedar. The bottle looks very luxurious and premium. My husband absolutely loves it. It is very long-lasting as well.

My wife loved this one, she says it smells amazing and it wafts as she walks past (which I assume is a good thing). Anyway she's happy with it so I'm happy with it lol.

Dunhill Driven Eau de Parfum is a new fragrance for men, launched in 2021. The fragrance has woody citrus and floral notes beautifully blended together. Amber, Jasmine and Musk are special in the composition. Top notes: Lime, Plum, Bergamot & Red Apple Middle notes: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Jasmine & Rose Base notes: Amber, Vanilla, Musk, Cedar & Amyris If I try to define the scent, it is more woody and spicy in the beginning, then the floral notes start to come up. But .... Very light scent. It does not last long. The fragrance stays for a few hours only and then it starts to fade away. The scent has only stayed on my skin for a few hours at most. Upon smelling the clothes after 12 hours, the scent was very lightly noticeable. It's not good enough for an EDP (Eau de Parfum). Masculine scent for over 30's. The fragrance is quite masculine, similar to fragrances of the 80's to 90's. So, it is good for men over 30 in my opinion, not for the younger generation. The bottle is okay with a massive cap. Expensive scent for £64.00.

My husband liked the look of this very much. The bottle is very smart and looks good on the shelf. We both found the scent a bit woody. Quite pleasant, but not an instant favourite. For reference, his preferred scent is Paco Rabonne.
