Solid, Consistent Filament With Repeat Purchases
The media could not be loaded. TLDR; So far this is the highest quality and most consistent filament I've found. It's clear HATCHBOX delivers a high quality product through a reliably packaged, well delivered product, with no design or manufacturing flaws that I've seen across multiple spools and colors. The packaging:HATCHBOX filament comes in a sturdy cardboard box with a side label that is small but easy to read. The label contains the type of filament, diameter, tolerance, net weight, ext. temp to set your printer, and the color in both text and color swatch for those of you that might need help identifying the specific color (color blind or slightly different shades of colors). Ex: PPLA, 1.75mm, +/- 0.003, 1 kg, 180ºC-210ºC. The spool inside the box is sealed in a clear, vacuum packed plastic bag that is thick (likely 6-8 mils) with a sizable packet of silica gel.Printing:The manufacturer has said that this filament could be printed without a bed temp heat, but currently I'm running 200ºC for a melting temp and 60ºC bed as an extra precaution on oversized 250mm+ prints without any problems of adhesion on a Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro with a direct drive extruder. I've also not found any winding problems or diameter problems with any of the colors of PPLA and PLA so far (I've printed on 4 of the 8 colors I've bought so far). Note: the filament looks dull on the roll, but prints with a slight matte and glossy shine depending on the angle of light.Storage:I keep all of my rolls in a 2L sealed cereal box with hygrometer and orange indicating silica gel pellets in the bottom. The rolls are removed for printing, then put back into the container after use and I've had no problems that indicate the need to print from the container. But, I might consider it if I were to do 8+ hr, very large and long run-time prints since %RH in my area is sometimes 60-70%. My DIY dry box seems to keep the relative humidity at roughly 10% (+/- 5% according to the hygrometer) and so far no problems with adhesion, warping, popping, or bubbling on any prints.I will try to update this review after trying some prints without any bed heating to confirm whether this stands up to their claim of no warping. This should be really helpful for those of you that don't have this type of capability.

Keep dry but good
Use a dry to get the moisture out and it will work great

Know before you buy
The good: this is actually a very nice product, prints very well (see cons below) and the prints look stellar when they are done. I bought mine by accident (was looking for green Hatchbox pla and didn't notice the extra "P" in front of the name). One thing to note, Hatchbox green PPLA is a significantly darker shade than standard Hatchbox green PLA. I decided to keep it anyway, because the standard stuff is currently out of stock. In any case, very nice stuff. Also note that, at least for the green color I got, it's a much flatter finish (i.e. not reflective) compared to the standard PLA filament.Cons: if you've been printing with regular Hatchbox PLA, don't drop this in and assume all is well. I spent a few days (yes, days) tweaking things before I found settings that work best for me. The most significant thing I found is that I need to run it about 5 degrees higher nozzle temp (215 rather than my normal 210). Once I got it all dialed in, it's smooth sailing.5/5 would buy again.

Incredibly smooth filament!
I have been having issues with PLA filament with my 3D printer. I had done all sorts of troubleshooting, but still could not get a decent print. Then I decided to try the Hatchbox Performance PLA filament. Holy cow, what a difference this made in my cookie cutters! I have never used a filament that creates such a smooth surface with no noticeable lines! It is as smooth as silk and very sturdy.I use a Creality CR6SE printer and this filament sticks to the bed perfectly and there are no problems printing at all. It is a dream to work with. I cannot begin to explain how much better this looks than any other filament I have used. Needless to say I will be getting more of this. The only downside is that this is not available in pale pink which is the color that I choose to print my cutter in. But that is ok. I can use other colors. I just love this filament!

Brittle spool
I had already used this hatchox material and I did not have this problem... luckily the prints look good but when I stop using the material for more than 7 hours the filament strip that comes out of the printer always breaks, it is shown in the photos, the first times I used it I didn't have this problem, I keep it in a plastic bag with a dehumidifier just like I did with the previous rolls and only this one presented this problem.

The Best
I've been printing with this none stop. 30 hour prints no problem, 10 min. prints no problem. I have used this whole roll with 0 mistakes. I think Hatchbox is all I'm gonna buy from now on. Less chance of warpage because of no need to heat bed. I can recommend this product.

Excellent filament
I've used Prusament, Polymaker, Protopasta and this, and this wins hands down. The print quality is insane, the layer lines are barely visible and the color is fantastic. Also one of the few filaments thats comes out flat and not shiny which is a major plus if you like to paint/prime your models. Will buy more colors to test and update if anything is different but for now this is the best PLA I've used.

No complaints. - PERFORMANCE is 99% mumbo jumbo. Can't see any difference from normal PLA.
Worked really well. No complaints. Nice sturdy spool, well packaged.NOT SURE what the 'Performance' aspect of this filament is though. 99% sure it's marketing mumbo jumbo.Did not notice anything different.

Even better than their standard PLA
Having tried pretty much every brand of PLA on the market, I stick with Hatchbox due to the unsurpassed print quality and reliability. When I first tested this new PPLA, I figured it wouldn't make a difference I mean how can you improve on near perfection? boy was I wrong! miniatures I'd printed before now have individual fingers and I haven't changed a single setting on my printer! This will now be the only filament I purchase! I couldn't recommend it more!
