I don’t think you could beat the price for what you’re getting with these. Solid, the lock nuts actually stay put, the weight is accurate and the carrying case is fine.Solid.

The set is nicely chromed and comes in a convenient carrying case. The case is relatively fragile plastic, so don't expect it to get through shipping without being damaged. One reviewer complained about shavings which I thought was trivial. If there really were shavings, those could be washed off and the chrome surface dried (competitor review?) Sunny Health has a matching barbell bar and additional weights available so that this set could become part of a larger set of weights. The pieces that secure the weights snug up easily and safely. There's no synthetic (rubber-like plastic) on these to smell bad. I'm very happy with this set of dumbbells.

In dumbell world, when you say bla bla lb pair that means you get 2x total weight and stated lb on each dumbell. 33 lb pair means 33 + 33 to me not 16.5 + 16.5!! but this is exactly like this. be aware of that. other than that good quality. 4 stars for misleading marketing.

I'm a personal trainer so I'm at the gym almost everyday and have access to just about every kind of professional equipment I could want to use. For this reason, I want practical, space-saving, economical equipment for my home gym. I paired this set of adjustable dumbbells with a set of Ativafit adjustable dumbbells, plus 4 5 lb plates to replace an entire set of dumbbells ranging from 3 lbs to 70 lbs. I chose these because with 4 more 5 lb plates, they allow for small increments in the 2.75 to 26 lb. range. You can literally go up by just 1.25 lbs if you want to. Keep in mind the bars weigh 2.75 lbs and the 2 collars weigh 1.1 lbs., so they're almost 4 lbs without any plates. These are solidly made, and fit any plates made for a 1 inch bar. The case is nice enough to keep them in, and they do look great too. Great space-saver, and a very economical way to have a whole range of weights in lighter dumbbells.

I am impressed with this set of hand weights. They came in a case and are easy to put together and take apart. You can adjust how much or how little weight you want to add. This is great when working different arm and shoulder muscles. The quality is really great and well worth the price. I would highly recommend these weights to anyone.

I have a Sunny Recumbent bike and a bench so i know what their quality level is. These dumbbells are about the same, good but not great quality. The best thing about the dumbbell is how easy it is to adjust. The worst thing is how hard it can be to get the dumbbell back on the stand (the weight plates don't always stand up exactly straight so it takes a little coaxing to get the DB back into the holder.Do note this listing is for ONE adjustable dumbbell. I was misled a little here and thought I was buying two. So now I need to get another and spend twice as much as I planned. Also, note the warranty is pretty weak, about 5 months. At this price per dumbell I think they should do better than that.

I've had these for about a month...I like them very much. The bar seems long at first if you are used to using neoprene type dumbells, but you get used to it quickly. I like being able to have one set of weights versus several sets of different weights lying around, or the expense. The case arrived with the inside crushed, but not a big deal to me. One inch CAP weights fit the bars, one inch locking clips also work, but I like the extra pound the screw locks add. I am a 5'1" female and would definately buy again.

from reading other reviews, I expected the case to be broken, but it wasn't ... it's so weak, tho, it soon should be. i'm no weight lifter and not very strong right now (reason I bought the weights), but I have expectations for the future, so I ended up buying four 5-lb chrome plates to add to the set and give it a little more versatility. anyway, my exercise buddy might drop by and need the heavier weight. I've decided to abandon using the case and keep the weight plates in a sturdy milk crate ... certainly shouldn't be having to lug them around anywhere. anyway, all in all, considering the pricing for such things on amazon, i'd say I made an excellent purchase for less than $60 (not counting the four 5 lb plates i'm adding) ... and didn't even have to leave my abode to buy them! thanks again, amazon!
