100% fun
100% fun and I think perfectly suitable for a total beginner. Still fine for someone with boomerang throwing experience, as it performs with predictable, stable flight characteristics and a nice, basically reliable circular flight pattern. It’s stability makes it very acceptable, in my opinion (always be careful, as getting hit with a Boomerang is very much not a fun thing), for use in a tighter front/back yard type space. Sort of a perfect boomerang in many ways.

Hard and sharp
Not recommended for kids especially but this thing is hard and the edges are sharp. I was concerned for the safety of anyone using this boomerang.

Pretty easy to learn. Fun.
My grandchildren, ages 12-16, had a good time with these while on vacation. There’s some trial and error in the learning process but not to the point of frustration. A large front yard provides sufficient room. Common sense safety precautions need to be practiced - one in the air at a time, situational awareness, adult involvement/supervision, etc.

Did not receive booklet of instructions. Could not get toy to turn in the air. My grandson was disappointed.

easy to use
This is probably the most versatile boomerang on the market. Easy to catch and perfect for low winds. Its not an indoor boomerang by any means, but it will give you an easy 20-30 foot arc on average day wind conditions. I recommend this to start with.
