Fanstastic product for the price
Plugged right into my receivers mic input and works great. You can play music, and have the ability to speak over the top, which is what we wanted. Great little mic system.

Great Build Quality, and Extraordinary Value for your money!
I am a Mobile DJ who has been deejaying many events a year since 1999. I have owned Wireless microphones from Audio Technica, SHURE, NADY, Voco Pro, GTD, and now Phenyx Pro. I saw this system on sale here on Amazon for $98.39 after a 20% discount, and the specs seemed like exactly what I want for my microphone needs. I have a 7 year old Shure BLX Combo system where the lavalier mix transmitter box has been malfunctioning so I wanted a combo handheld/lavalier wireless set up. I decided to give this Phenyx Pro 52B system a try, and I AM IMPRESSED! The build quality surpasses what I expected for a system in the $100 price range. The sound is good out of both the hand held, and the lavalier box. These microphones are not as sensitive as SHURE microphones are so they do need to be closer to the speaker's mouth, but the sensitivity is not bad at all. I am really impressed with the range! I did a distance test outside at a park in 32 degree windy weather today. I was able to walk over 400 feet away from my table/speaker/receiver box with the hand held, and it still had a clear wireless signal! With the lavalier box, I was able to walk about 250 feet from the receiver box before I started getting signal drop outs! I compared this system to my Shure BLX system that cost $599.99 when I purchased it. This Phenyx Pro system out performed the Shure BLX system in signal distance! I couldn't believe it! The Shure hand held pushed 300 feet, but the SHURE lavalier box get's cut outs, and signal drops starting at 50 feet, and by the time I got to 100 feet away, the SHURE lavalier mic had no signal whatsoever. Granted, my Shure BLX system is over 5 years old, and used a lot, but this new Phenyx System really surprises me! It even came with a carry case, wind screen, and am attachment to keep the handheld stable and not roll around on the table when you put it down on a table! I am truly impressed with this sytem, and for $98.39 it's a BARGAIN! Just buy this system, you will be very happy that you did!

This wireless Mic set works very well.
This wireless Mic set works very well. For my personal preference I use the actual handheld Mic. The clip on Mic and the headset mic are fine, work well, good quality, I don't use them much. That is a personal preference. This set gets used in a professional Trivia setup and moved daily from Venue to Venue. It just does an excellent job, good sound quality. IT is easy to adjust the mic volume Levels, not heavy but not cheap feeling, easy to use.

Sometimes, good enough really is good enough. A whole system for the price of an SM58.
Like everything I have gotten from Phenyx Pro, this unit arrived well-packaged and includes a 2-channel receiver, handheld dynamic mic, wireless belt pack, clip-on lav mic, headset mic, batteries, a ¼ mix out cable, antennas, and an anti-roll ring for the handheld mic.All of this costs about the same as a single wired Shure SM58, a well-known industry standard. However, this is a budget-friendly wireless system—great for conference rooms, speeches, or non-critical events, but not ideal for musicians or important occasions where audio quality and reliability are crucial (wedding ceremonies, funerals, large events, etc). The build quality is better than expected for the price, though not as robust as higher-end models like the Shure ULXD or Phenyx Pro PTAU-2. The PTU-52 is more affordable but lacks features like true diversity, which improves wireless reliability and range.I tested the PTU-52 against several other mics and systems for comparison.• Phenyx Pro PTU-71• Phenyx Pro PTAU-2• Shure QLXD• Shure ULXD• Wired Shure SM58• Wired SE V7• Wired Sennheiser e865The PTU-52 offers an acceptable frequency range, but proper gain structure is essential. Both the receiver and transmitter volume knobs, as well as mixer gain and EQ, need careful adjustment. The handheld mic has more handling noise than the others, so good mic technique is important—moving it around or holding it far from the mouth reduces sound quality and increases noise, even with low-end EQ cuts. Wind and handling noise are also issues for the lapel and especially the headset mic, making them unsuitable for outdoor use or near fans. The handheld sounds decent, though thinner than an SM58, but can be improved with EQ. Proximity effect is strong; moving the mic just a few inches away reduces warmth. The lapel is thinner (as most are) but usable, while the headset is almost unusable due to its thin sound and breath noise. However, the belt pack uses a mini 3-pin XLR, so you can upgrade to a better headset mic if needed. The wireless range is decent with a clear line of sight, but obstacles over 50 feet can cause dropouts. For the price, the PTU-52 is a solid budget choice—sometimes, good enough really is good enough. I give it 4 stars primarily because, for the price, you probably can't find better. But if you pay more, even for other Phenyx Pro systems, you'll get a better system. If you can swing an extra $50 and get the PTU-71. If not, this will do if you keep the things I said above in mind.

Incredible for the price
Bought this a couple of weeks ago and waited to write a review until we had a show to use it at. Our band uses a lot of rack gear and runs IEM’s. Since we are fully contained, we have a lot of lines on the ground and this was super nice to break away from another long xlr running across stage. We use one of the vocopro iem rigs and I’ve gotten used to that cheaper build quality. This felt like a step up in quality. During our set, I didn’t have any dropouts or technical issues. This operates under a different frequency than our IEM’s so no interference issues. We were on a decently big stage and never had a distance issue when moving around with it. Setup was extremely simple and when it arrived, I knew it was worth the inexpensive asking price. My only con is that I wish it came with rack ears in the box but I’m sure there’s someone out there 3D printing them!

Not bad but we’ve had better.
Not to bad but we can tell the difference in the sound verses one with more quality sound.

Works great for church
I got this for my church building and it works great. We have a few folks that are hard of hearing and needed the volume of the teachers in the bigger class rooms to be bumped up a bit.The signal quality and range are great, I tested the microphone in our chapel and I could reach all the way back into the overflow with the receiver on the rostrum. We haven’t had any issues with the durability but we don’t really hand it around, mostly just used by the teachers.Overall a good purchase and I would recommend it to anyone needing a similar solution.
