Q: Will the tape stick to textured dry wall?

Mine is on a textured semi gloss wall and it's not coming off. It's not a tape, it's an adhesive.

Q: Can you turn it on directly from the app? Or you have to touch it first to turn it on then use the app to control the light ?

you have to ¹touch it first to turn, ²then place it into Bluetooth mode EVERY TIME!!!! which defeats the purpose of having it on the app.

Q: Where can I buy more of the sticky magnetic base (wooden color) ?

They have only black and white.

Q: How long does battery last on highest brightest setting?

Since you can take it off and on base. Its used if have company coming or a delivery at night. It says only for inside but its used to illuminate my house number. living in a rural area. Even if lights on number hard to see. It works great!!! It can be put out and then taken back in when done!
