I HAVE BEEN BUYING FLASHLIGHTS AND THROWING THEM OUT SOON AFTER I BUY THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE DRUGSTORE FLASHLIGHTS THAT I HAVE BOUGHT; EVEN THE METAL ONES; HAVE WORKED FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME; THEN SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING. IN THE OLIDEAR HEAVY DUTY FLASHLIGHT; I FOUND A FLASHLIGHT THAT IS CONSISTENTLY BRIGHT; DURABLE; AND DOES NOT NEED BATTERIES. YOU CHARGE IT FOR 8-12 HOURS; AND THE CHARGING LASTS FOR MANY HOURS OF CONTINUAL USE. IF YOU ONLY USE THE OLIDEAR OCCASIONALLY FOR SHORT PERIODS OF TIME; THE CHARGING WILL LAST FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. THE SWITCH FOR THE LIGHT HAS TWO MODES; HIGH BRIGHT AND VERY BRIGHT. FOR ME; THE HIGH BRIGHT MODE IS EXTREMELY BRIGHT. THE VERY BRIGHT MODE IS BRIGHT; AND ALL I NEED. THE OLIDEAR LIGHT BRIGHTNESS IS VERY POWERFUL. THE BRIGHT LIGHT WILL LIGHT UP AN ENTIRE ROOM; WITH THE BEAM'S BRIGHTEST AREA SHINING IN ABOUT A 3 FOOT DIRECT CIRCUMFERENCE. ON THE BOX THE OLIDEAR CAME IN; IT SAYS THAT THE OLIDEAR FLASHLIGHT SHOULD NOT BE FLASHED DIRECTLY INTO EYES BECAUSE IT CAN DAMAGE YOUR VISION. I AM HAPPY THAT I PURCHASED THE OLIDEAR FLASHLIGHT. IN THE OLIDEAR; I FINALLY HAVE FOUND A FLASHLIGHT THAT IS BRIGHT; CONSISTENTLY WORKS; IT STAYS CHARGED FOR A LONG TIME. AND IT IS DURABLE.

I was a bit of a skeptic about buying this flashlight for the simple fact of all the false advertising that these companies do. So after reading some of these reviews on the flashlight I decided to take a chance now they have the same one but that one's $43. So I decided to take my chance where it's just $25 one and it came nicely packaged nothing was broken or a miss and protected very well. I read the instructions like it said I charged it for about two hours until this the light indicating saying that it was charged which was another Plus other ones don't have that feature where you can keep overcharging it and mess up the flashlight but this one is simply has a red light and a blue light red for charging and blue for full size large which you will not see that on a $25 flashlight. And once it was charged I wanted to turn it on so bad but I waited all the way until Nightfall period and boy let me tell you when I turn that flashlight on that thing surprised the heck out of me nothing shut up to easy 200 yards where I can easily distinguish what I was lighting up. Now most people say that they're flashlight is bright but what are they actually comparing it to you? Well mean for instance I collect flashlights so I have every flashlight imaginable I prefer the spotlight kind not the flood light and this one over exceeded my expectations what a budget flashlight can do no I just got it and I will be updating this in a few weeks to see how well it holds up. But it's far as I was expecting went well above and beyond and that I think is cool so great job to the company who designed this last night and then in the company who distributes them in a big thanks to Amazon for the good Packaging hope you keep up the good work and may many cell because things are a kick-ass flashlight or Spotlight I should say. So if you're looking for a flood light this is not the one but if you want to light up a Target or an object 200 yards away hands down this is the one for you. So definitely take a chance on this one you will not be sorry or disappointed in any way shape or form. I hope you enjoy your flashlight!!!!!

I have probably bought 8 of these over the years for family and friends. I know they last, and remain bright.

Great light. Bought it in 2017, it's now 2019 [EDIT: it's now 2020] and it is still working like new. Even tho' it's really easy to hold onto I've dropped it a few times (from around 2.5' up) and every time I drop it the dang thing detonates on impact... lens goes that way, lens-holder goes this way...I put it back together and it works great. This is not a heavy-duty light. It casts a pretty long, strong beam; took it out coyote spotting a few times and camping a few times. I lost the charger so I have to improvise to charge it. I leave it hanging by the back door because it holds a charge for a long time and I use it approx. 10x per month. The flashlight has never let me down. I recommend this light to anyone looking for a good, dependable, inexpensive, bright, light-duty flashlight of this style.

I bought one of these 4 years ago and it is still my "go to" spotlight when I need a really bright light. For under $30 this is an amazing light.

I have used this every single day since purchased over 60 days ago and only charged it the day it arrived! I take my dogs out every single evening about three times and use it every single time. It’s not a long use each time, but it’s multiple times every night. I Purchased solely to be able to see the edge of the lake for alligators when I let my dogs out. The beam is so strong I could light up the other side of the lake! I actually try not to shine it too far up because it is so bright. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!!!
