I know that there are several products designed to serve the same purpose, and unfortunately this one didn't do much for me. It did indeed keep me a bit more level headed, but not nearly as effective as another cortisol blocker that I also purchased here on Amazon. Again, with the different formulas out there, you will have to find one that works for you. This one, unfortunately, didn't work as well as I would have hoped.

I think I'm proof of what the science says.......stress increases cortisol levels, and that can cause increased fat storage, particularly in the belly. Yep..true. In my case, anyway. I have a high stress job, am a single mom, and menopausal. The perfect storm for weight gain.I decided to purchase this product, Corti Response, with nothing to lose (except fat, I hoped). As always, I went with a company I trust, Mountain Song. With so many companies, marketing similar products, it can be difficult to know what to choose, and from whom. With Mountain Song, I am guaranteed a great product.I have been using the product for 2 weeks. I have lost a couple lbs, but more encouraging is that I have an increased energy, have been sleeping better, and I don't feel as drained and depleted as I have been in recent weeks. I am excited to continue with this product.Thank You Mountain Song!

It's too early to fully assess at this point. For sleeping use, it's very good. Takes the edge off the day and sleep comes easier. But more that, will have to wait.

To be honest with you guys, I'm not a 100% sure that it is working and that's the reason I only gave it 4 stars. I hope to be able to change it later on because I really want it to work. One thing I've noticed is that I haven't been that hungry as before. I believe I will order some more so that I can give it a chance, again, because I want it to work. I believe it will...!

I may be the only one, of course to get this side -effect, but I got killer acne all over my cheeks, chin, neck, boobs, back. Not a great look, and I am also losing a bunch of hair. I am feeling a bit calmer as well, so I am giving 3 stars. Will try something else I guess. I was hoping this would be similar to Relacore before they changed their formula in 2009. Nothing works like it did.Edit 10/23/2014 After further research, it is clear to me that my free testosterone (I am a female, but we have such a hormone;) was raised as my cortisol was brought down, hence the acne and shedding of the hair.So I have revised my stars rating to 5 stars. It absolutely helped my chronic elevated cortisol levels, but I also have to balance my other hormones that have been wacked by stress. I am looking into re-introducing this product (my boyfriend used it all up and it helped him), slowly and wisely with the other supplements I am taking for my Sex Hormones.

Been taking it a month. seems to be helping. going to try it another month.

I've only been using this product for two weeks. It might be a little premature for me to give a rating. I do know my APRN recommended I try a cortisol manager to help get my thyroid antibodies under control. Many of my symptoms have already stopped and my inflammation seems to be diminished. I am seeing some very positive signs. But, I will check back in after more time has passed.

I hope it's working. I've been taking it for about a week and my belly is smaller. It might be a coincidence.... I don't know. Either way, I feel more mellow / less stressed lately...
