Ghost Controls AXWK Premium Wireless Keypad for Automatic Driveway Gate Opener Systems

An option to connect to permanent power would be an improvement.

Product is as described and is easy to assemble. My husband and I use the app, but he put these up for the rest of our family.

This is the sixth Ghost Controls keypad we've purchased and they are great! It is wonderful to have such functional, sturdy, keypads available at our gates, inside and outside the gates, and they are a great value even though they are a bit pricey. They are very durable, fit the application perfectly, integrate precisely with the rest of Ghost Controller products, and seem to have very good battery life. They are super easy to use and make it easy to allow whomever we want to have access to our property. If we had more gates, we'd add more Ghost Controller keypads to them!

The design, ruggedness and ease of installation are right up to the ghost controls standards (I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve purchased and installed from them: highly recommend for the price), however the fact that it needs two ‘C’ cell batteries seems ridiculous to me. It’s an obsolete battery size and they don’t come in a lithium equivalent. So, since it runs off 3V anyways I ended up converting it to use two 18650 lithium cells in parallel with a new holder. They fit great and it works fine still, except now it should work better in sub-zero temps here in Canada, unlike alkaline batteries. Plus I can pull them and recharge as necessary. That’s why 4 stars not 5.

Bought in September, 10 months later it is not working. Changing batteries does nothing. Support and return windows are closed so it’s basically garbage
