Propet Mens Stability Walker

This is my 3rd pair of this brands shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes and have relived the foot pain I have had for many years. I strongly recommend these shoes. They fit true to size.

Uncertain why they are called "stability walkers" or "medicare approved". To me they are simply the best tennis shoes I have ever had. I have gone through several of these shoes over the many years and love them. They are comfortable and have great traction. If I walk through wet grass or even a puddle of an inch or so deep, the outside of the shoe gets wet but neither my socks nor my feet get wet. Only issue I have with these shoes is that, after a couple of years, the soles start to peel off. I glue them back on but that lasts only a while. Then, it is time to get a new pair which I gladly do.

On my 3rd pair and is now almost August! I have had to use ShoeGoo on every pair as the sole of the shoes have separated on every pair. Also, the shoe string loops are metal and they have very sharp edges on the inside of the loops. They cut into the shoe strings within a few days and up to a couple weeks. I have had to replace the stings with high quality and heavy duty strings for each of my shoes. The stability and quality of materials overall (Other than the string hoops) are all 5 star. Heavy duty and wide base has corrected some of my walking issues and I am no longer in "Pronate Pain" I have had these since December now and they have been perfect. The price when I bought them was a bit lower but are well worth any price. The souls are very solid and wide so they support my extremely wide feet under my heavy body. Most of my shoes wear the souls down in under 2 months. It's been almost 3 and these are showing no signs of wear! I will be purchasing these again! It is now the end of March 2019 and the shoes still show no signs of wear on the souls. The laces broke in January but I have replaced them and they are ready to be replaced again. There must be a sharp edge on the lace holders. Still great shoes and will purchase again and again.

I ordered the wide width (5E) If you need wider widths I would highly recommend and they are very comfortable / good for walking & everyday wear

I don't know if shoe makers suddenly started making shoes really skinny to be more "aesthetic," or if my feet have suddenly gotten wider, but I find that all the shoes I've been looking at recently have been way too narrow for my feet. I ordered this in XX-Wide, and half a size larger than my usual, as the product page recommends. It fits my toes nicely, but the heel is way too wide for me. I would say that if you have generally large feet, this would probably work really well. But for me, my feet just seem to be wide across my toes, so these are very loose in the heel. I added some high arch support insoles, and that has helped the heel area a little. I won't use these for long walks, but for driving or sitting in the office, these are very comfortable for me.

My husband has had a lot of problems with finding shoes that fit him well. At a 5e width, they are hard to find. Propet has solved the problem. Also a sturdy shoe that will hold up. Not cheap, but worth the price.

There is something within the construction of this sneaker that puts pressure on the side of my husband’s foot making it uncomfortable and dangerous since he is a diabetic and the feet are very susceptible to injury l it is clearly past the time line of return since he wanted to save them for a cruise we were going on. I wish I could contact the manufacturer and discuss an exchange or some remedies for this problem.

Glattes feines Leder, saubere Verarbeitung (innen und außen), man fühlt sich willkommen und wohl im Schuh. Fersendämpfung deutlich spürbar, auch im Vorderfuß ist eine wabenförmige Dämpfung zu ertasten. Für Amateursportler bestens geeignet. Bequemes Wandern dürfte garantiert sein. Ich habe mich einfach nur gefreut.

I was very happy to find the extra large width. I will probably order more since they are of good quality and comfortable. The shoes were very well and professionally packed and item arrived before the said date! Note: I Like the fact that the toe is not excessively wide and that I can use shoe extender / widener and adjust the toe to my size. I have been using this particular sneaker and brand for an year everyday. Despite excessive use the shoe has held up. There is no peeling of leather. I am surprised that the sole has not worn off to a side. Usually my shoes tend to do that but not this one!!!!! WITH REGARD to heal support lacking I was able to fix this problem by using Dr Scholls arch support insoles. Its 16 Canadian dollars extra but I always use them. Feels like i am walking on air :) Note 2: since the last product review I have purchased one more pair! I wish the price was a bit lower than I would buy same shoe in more colors........... I always have hard time to find shoes with wide width. It was a pain to go around looking for shoes/ sneakers of right size. Most shoe places had only medium size width. I am very grateful to Amazon for having such a wide selection of shoes and other items. Makes it easy for me to get what I want easily. I cant thank amazon enough!!!!!!!!!
