Nice saw!
I purchased this saw to replace an old Black and Decker saw I had for years. I was looking for a low profile jig saw and came across this one. I like the Ridgid brand and have several other tools from Ridgid.I have purchased several other reconditioned tools through Amazon and so far they have all be "like new" with no scratches or blemishes and have operated just like new ones.I like all the features this saw has and its ease of use. It's small size makes it comfortable to move around when cutting straight or curved cuts. The blade quick release makes it easy to change blades not like my older saw that required a screwdriver or allen wrench. And it was nice that a bag came with it.I'll buy another reconditioned tool made by Ridgid again when the time comes.

Great Tool
Works like new - easy on and off with the blade - nice feel in the hand - no mar glide plate works well...

Good tool, compact, and easily manuverable. It is a little underpowered, but works fine if you have a little patience.

Bad trigger switch design
The switch is on top of the handle. You can't "feather" the trigger. It's either on or off, I don't like it.

Angle Lock
I don't know why people are saying that you can't lock this saw at an angle. There is an included hex key that is attached to the cord and is for just that. It fits into a bolt on the bottom of the saw that locks it down at the desired angle.

No good
I got the product and it does not work right. The switch to make the up and down motion does not work. It is stuck in the saw motion. Plus the head that holds the blade is very loose. I feel like it's going to come out. I'm very disappointed I have lots of ridged tools. This is by far the worst
