I give this pull start 5 stars and has aluminum drive gear not plastic
I’m not sure why people are complaining. First off it’s about the cheapest priced pull start on amazon. Next it is prone to breaking just like most others. Make sure and torque down snug all your bolts to it. And lastly to note, the gear drive on it is actually made of aluminum not plastic which I don’t see stated in the product details. So it’s much better than I thought it would be. Mounts right up with ease and for $8.95 if it last a little while great!

Does not match image of part they are selling.
Not the same as the item in the description. There are no lips, (circled in red on uploaded image). The section that contacts the engine was supposed to be even all the way across. Either they sent the wrong item, or they poorly describe and do not take accurate pictures. now I won’t be able to fix it before Christmas.... Update: It's now Almost August... No response from seller about incorrect description. I managed to get the part to work, but the pull string already broke. Cheap plastic and nylon rope. My son has only riden this bike about 5 times since I put this pull on. It's is stored in the garage away from the elements. I would not recommend this product to anyone....

Amazing product fits perfect.
It is a very good upgrade if your pull sting breaks or if it’s having a hard time with the teeth catching. My stock on had plastic teeth on it this one came with aluminum. Fit right on and started up first try.

This is a nice replacement part but the rope is no good it snapped after a dozen pulls but still satisfied.
