I take my temperature 4 times and get 4 different measurments ranging from 37.2 to 37.7 so safe to say that this thermometer fails at its basic function. I wish could get a mercury one delivered in a timely fashion as this thing is a joke.

This is the only thermometer my kids will use. They know how to use it and then can tell us “their color” and we know whether they have a fever or not. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Temperature accuracy is spot on. These are what my husband uses on the ambulance service he works for.
