Exact replacement
Replaced a part for my 8500 awning, bought a new awning and hardware kit, and found out 3/4 of the way through the installation that one part was damaged from the manufacturer. They wouldnt replace just the one part, they wanted the entire awning hardware kit returned. No way was I removing everything I just installed for this one part. They ended up crediting me $30 because they didn't sell the single part. Found it here.

Easy replacement
Wind broke both brackets to the awning. Installation was as easy as two screws.

Replaced my broken one, but I had to modify the bracket on the trailer to make it work. I could not find the old bracket anywhere online.

Perfect fit. The only reason this is not a five star is because the vendor doesn't accurately describe the product. In addition to the part number listed, it comes with part number 3309298.2, the spring loaded clip that is the most common reason for needing this part.

Fit perfectly on 2006 Trail-Cruiser TC21DBL
Based on other reviews, I was worried this wouldn't work on my older camper. However, this ended up being a direct replacement.

Be careful, may not be the right size
I researched what I thought was thoroughly and came to the conclusion this was the replacement part for my Dometic awning. Even researching Dometic and diagrams for my unit and replacement and crossover part numbers and reviews that said it was an exact replacement. IT WAS NOT. It mounted on the trailer in the exact spot and hole lineup on the trailer as the old but the spring clip was too wide for the foot of the awning brace. Hence not at all compatible. Since I had mounted it and actually scraped some paint from the new clamp, I doubt I can return it. $50 wasted even though I researched to what I thought was an accurate part. Either try and find the right hardware clamp or replace the support bar foot. What a pain in the awning. I guess you can't believe everything you read.
