Very well built. Easy to use and read. The hard case is a nice addition to keep it protected between uses. MUCH better product vs the Jackson Safety Curv-O-Mark and made in the USA vs China.

I purchased this mainly for the structural aspect. ...I mark a lot of I and H beam, but the "adapter" is terribly subpar. I have used an older version of this and it was semi ok....still, the structural adapter was almost adequate, so I figured with the updated version it would be much improved. I will say that it is WAY worse because the on/off magnet has a big frame vs. The body that holds the flimsy articulating arm. Will it work? Yes, if you use caution and understand the awful deficiency of the adapter
