Q: Is this a 1 piece or 2 piece helmet?

The Kylo Ren Black Series Helmet cam in two pieces and The regular stormtrooper Black Series helmet cam in two pieces. I would not know for sure on this one however the seams line up good on the other two

Q: I only get a couple pop sounds when I push the button! Defective?

I know my regular stormtrooper helmet makes a sound when you press it to turn it on, then you just have to speak once its on. my shadow trooper helmet make the same noise but the voice changer doesn't work.

Q: Wich one do you reccomend? the original strom trooper or the shadow trooper?

It is all up to the collection you have. I personally like the shadow trooper helmet because the light it reflects. But the original stormtrooper helmet works best for custom paint jobs as far as making them into sand troopers or zombie troopers
