Love Pete the Cat books, bought for a great-grand son and he loves it

I bought this for myself, a young adult. As a kid I read a lot of these books, but surprisingly I don't have many memories of Pete the Cat, I was more so drawn to Babymouse, Junie B Jones, and Pinkalicious. Even so, while I was buying some of these books for nostalgia I decided to give this book a try since even though I hadn't really read much of Pete the Cat even when I was young, I recognized the character as he is a bit iconic. Needless to say I'm not disappointed.This book is certainly targeted for young kids learning to read, but even now I enjoyed it quite a lot. I think the funniest part was when Pete missed school so much.. he quite literally plowed the streets himself. It was a huge tone shift and legitimately made me laugh out loud.

Love the ‘i can read’ PTC series for its simple syntax. Great for teaching related concepts and basic vocabulary.

You can't go wrong with a Pete the Cat book! They always have a good story line. Kids love them! Including my grand son who asked me to get him Pete the Cat books for him to read!This book is soft cover & has paper pages. Came to me in great condition & by the promised date. I highly recommend this seller!

My grandson loves Pete the Cat. I have bought many books and this one is very good, perfect stocking stuffer.

I bought his book for my 4 year old grandson. He loves the book and is exhibiting word recognition as I read the book to him . My main complain is in the shipping of this item. It was shipped with other larger items and the paperback book was wet from cleaning supplies that were also in the box and the cleaner had leaked over everything in the box.

My 5 yr old loves the book. Came as described, everything perfect.
