I bought a second one to have as a backup after 3 years.Pretty good converter.Does work well.Three stagesAdjustable.And durable; my first one is still working good doing its job.I liked it and it's price so I got an extra one.

The power unit on one of our machines died and I needed to find a replacement. After much research I settled on the powermax RV converter, 75 amp model. This unit can be used as a charger for lithium batteries but I needed a fixed voltage output source for my 12v machine. This unit was extremely easy to set up. Slide a switch over to "Fixed Voltage", plug it in to 115V outlet, connect voltmeter to output lugs and then turn adjusting screw on side of box to set the desired voltage. I set mine to 13.8v. Took less than a minute.Ended up buying two of them as I had two machines that used this type of power source. One was still working but I'm keeping that as the back up spare now. Both of my machines are now working fine with new power sources. Very please with the product, good instructions and easy set up. Thanks.W

We thought our converter had gone bad and ordered this one to replace it. We found the issue was our battery but installed this one anyway in case we ever go lithium. It's been over 6 months and it has been working great. RV got a lot of use between September and January so it was a good test.

It works and was easy to install but it didn’t come with wires so I had to go to the store and buy wires for it. That’s why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. It’s silent when it’s on but the fan is a little louder than expected when it kicks on.

Best money ever spent on a battery charger. I am a mobile repair technician and dead batteries are a common thing with this power supply I am able to start the car easily I can easily leave the key forward and not have to worry about running the battery down during diagnostics even dual battery diesels.

It only took a few minutes to hook it up and solved my problem immediately. I hope it lasts longer then my last one that was made by a different company.

Line6 on front page of instructions. Somewhat hidden in fine print is the statement ~"do not leave unattended when plugged in" thus is useless in an RV. This and the fact that there is no UL rating will void any insurance claim for the smoking pile of RV in your campsite or your house if it catches on fire as well. Even your phone charger has a UL or equivalent rating!Advert links on Amazon says ...for RVs and then directs to product home page and then that terminology is left out of the title. Yet, questions answered section has several responses answering RV use questions with no mentions of warnings about leaving it plugged in. Powermax advertisements imply their products are for RV, Marine etc.Note: Sellers all false advertise it as a 4 stage charger when it is 3 stage + a constant voltage setting which is also useless for charging, only floating. This is potential charging like a car. Not constant current like the staged profile.Return so far is in the AMAZON stage and is just fine. Will see if I get money back. I post again if I don't.Oceanside RV supply does not have a website so is probably in someone's garage and just forwarding Chinese crap. I don't know. No website equals no phone number to call them and ask "what's up". I am writing out of frustration so I apologize for the strong comments.Never plugged it in. So I cannot attest to its function. The labels look cheap like printed on home printer.Use at your own risk based on instructions and lack of qualified testing by UL or equivalent.
