Can this be used to mold fabric into shapes to create headpieces?

It stiffens fabric to become consistency of a piece of thick paper. It is not a permanent bond - it washes out. I suppose it could hold the headpiece temporarily in position enabling your ability to stitch pieces together but it will not permanently hold that position.

What are the ingredients? I am wondering if it contains typical allergens?

You'll have to zoom into the product picture and read the ingredients because I don't know.

Has anyone used this for quilting? I am wondering how it would stabilize bias edges for half and quarter square triangles.

Would work wonders for your stabilization, fabulous product, I never intent to be out of this product as long as I am able to quilt. Highly recommend!

Could you use this in place of liquid starch to hang fabric on a wall?

You mean like wallpaper glue? It isn't as thick as liquid starch, and it's probably more expensive. I use it to stabilize fabric before embroidery and also as a general spray starch when it is diluted. But heat (like ironing) or drying time is required. I honestly don't think it would work to attach fabric to a wall.
