Decent quality and bright projector
Seen some previous reviews saying the projection isn’t bright but this is simply not true! Works amazing in a dark room and the negative display is great during the day. German made so high quality, should last a long time. Only downside is no radio-time sync capability or forecasting features.

No complaints but description is incorrect
The clock looks good and is easy to set up.However, the description states that batteries are required for it to function - THEY AREN'T. The clock works perfectly with just the included power adapter. The description also states that the projection and backlight only work with the power adaptor - also incorrect as these both work perfectly WITH JUST THE BATTERIES.

Good looking clock, time projection works perfectly.
This is a very stylish looking little clock, not the cheapest, but hopefully that's reflected in it's lifespan. It's easy to set up and use, and the projector throws a perfectly clear time onto the roof, can even read it at night without my glasses.Would be a 5 star review if not for a few little niggles. It's very light weight, even more so without batteries inside. Which means it's easy to knock over at night when your checking the time, or switching off the alarm. Might end up sticking it down with double sided tape, some dead weight in the bottom or a wider base would have easily solved the problem, for very little extra cost. Also I have the projection set to only work when you press the button on top of the clock, otherwise it lights up the whole room. But this also makes the main display come on at full brightness, it's like a massive spotlight in a dark room. The whole point of the projection is to quickly check the time without waking any one else up, I'm sure it could wake up people in the next street, it's so bright. I've read and reread the instructions and this is how it's meant to work, unbelievable. Who wants this to happen, and also be unable to switch it off. I swear that designers never actually use the products they make, and never listen to any negative feedback. I've ended up putting a book in front of it to cover up the front, does the job but also completely hides a stylish looking clock. So over all, good, but could be much better with a little more thought at the design stage.

The Electronic version of shrinkflation
So let me frame this in that I owned a version of this clock previously and managed to literally blow it up during electrical work. It was a great clock. So we didn’t hesitate to but what we thought was the same clock - but it’s not.One reviewer already mentioned that it was advertised as radio controlled (time auto update) but actually isn’t. And the reason it was advertised like that is because it used to be. The version before was. That function has been stripped off, dumbing down the clock.Another reviewer mentions not being able to turn the projector on and off - guess what, you used to be able to. You could wave your hand over it and it would turn on and off. They’ve removed that. Dumbing down the clock. So as far as I’m concerned this is the electronic version of shrinkflation, removing interesting abilities but keeping the same look and price. It’s still a decent clock, it projects well, it is light and falls over easily if you don’t have batteries in (you have to have the wire attached if you want to project and have the led screen on) - I’ve put in dead batteries for weight. So it gets 3 stars for being dumber than the previous version. It’s still looks good as you’d expect from a Brain clock. I just wish they hadn’t hoped we wouldn’t notice the changes.

Good clock aid
For someone with age related neck stiffness I found this clock a boon, being able to tell the time just by glancing at the ceiling compared to the discomfort caused by having to turn my head to look at the clock.

Good quality, easy to read.
I've ordered this Braun digital projection alarm clock to replace my current non branded one.It arrived nicely boxed, so would be a great gift idea.It looks and feels well made from a good quality plastic. I have it in black. The size is exactly as per listing description, not very big, rather compact size. This clock is very straightforward to use.The format of the time can be chosen between 24h and 12h with am/pm.It has 4 backlight options, alarm with touch sensitive snooze button etc. The alarm on/off button is located at the back and very comfortable to use.It is fairly simple clock. The LCD display is of a good size, clear and easy to read. Numbers are white colour. It displays also the green bell when the alarm is set up.I've put it in the bedroom on the storage cupboard and use projection.Projection is of a very good quality, numbers are red, sharp, not very big, but easy to read. Even during the day a very faded numbers can be seen on the ceiling, unless it is a very bright day.Projector can be rotated, so the right spot on the ceiling could be chosen. It is different from my previous projection clock as it displays all the numbers and icons which are visible on the screen, my old one was projecting the time only.It is very convenient to check the time on the ceiling from the bed.Clock display wouldn't be always visible as I often put stuff on the cupboard in front of the clock.Great basic projection clock, excellent quality, works as it should, so I would happily recommend it.

Braun Projection Alarm Clock
I have still not been able to test if the clock is good or not as the adaptor sent with product is not compatible with Australian standards. I have had the added expense of having to get someone to purchase the correct adaptor. Therefore I have still not been able to try the clock. I am unhappy about the whole situation.
