Functions very well!
This is a perfect quick release, very cheap and efficient. The lockscrew is a little difficult to lock but it not a problem, I like the 1/4 screw still screwed and not falls down when you plate pull out and have 3/8 screw hole. i'm very happy with the purchase!

Okay but sloppy
The functionality is great but the connection is sloppy. Even though its tightened it is still a bit loose. I fixed this by adding 3 pcs of gaffers tapeto the inside.

Good enough for my uses
I am using these QRs to mount my field monitor and tablet bracket when using them with my camera. Purchased three. I read other comments that they fitted loose but held locked so I purchased a gun grip stick on pad to use to take up the loose fit. I needed the grip for another project anyway. Worked very well. Not much of the tape was needed. Since I was mounting using the 1/4 inch screws I only needed to place a bit of grip over the 3/8 inch hole and the slop was removed. Over all a good QR that if I need additional ones I would buy from here again.

Great little quick release... and dirt cheap!
I needed some kind of quick release for my cameras and different mounting points. Two cameras I regularly attach to a strap, one of three tripods, a Gorillapod, and a motorized gimbal.I had another solution but it was less than ideal. It required separate plates for each mounting plate because the way it screwed into the cameras and also required almost 270 degrees of rotation to lock it into place. These mounts allow me to screw both the "male" and "female" ends (am I allowed to say that with the possibility of snowflakes reading this?) precisely at the same angle so that no matter what the camera is attached to it would be facing the same direction. The only problem is both holes for mounting to the plate and camera are threaded. This meant that if the camera doesn't have the EXACT same thread rotation the camera may not be facing the same direction, the same problem I had with the previous solution. I solved this by drilling out the threads so the little screw that attaches to the camera rotates freely in the mounting plate. A rubber washer, purchased separately, keeps it snug.

Works, but not ideal if a tight clamp is required.
While the operation of this quick release is fine and secure, there is no way to tighten the grip onto the plate when mounted, therefor there is too much freedom of movement between the plate and the clamp causing rattling when mounted. I moved on to other quick release systems shortly after receiving this.

These are amazing.
I purchased one and fell in love with it. So I got 6 more. Can’t go wrong with this one.I connect my Sony a6400 on a Quick release attached to and audio interface that also has a quick release attached to the tripod. They don’t wabble and I’m not afraid it’s going to fall.

Loose fitting. Not solid lock
These don't hold tight. too much play and wiggle. My video assist monitor shakes all over the pace.

but the little bit of play will be annoying if you are moving around
There is a bit of play with this plate. It locks securely, so no worries about the monitor falling off, but the little bit of play will be annoying if you are moving around.
