I bought these so a bedroom light wouldn't hand down infront of projector, fairly simple to install and look amazing. Very low profile so barely show. They are however ridiculously bright. If you want a low cost option for an office or something these are your guys.

We have a stupidly designed hallway which leaves virtually no clearance for light fittings thanks to our low downstairs ceilings and the front door opening inwards. This little light has been the answer to the problem. It won’t win any awards for looks, at the end of the day it is a white circle trimmed in black… but it’s almost totally flush to the ceiling and very unobtrusive! The light is incredibly bright (possibly a little too bright, but it is good to have a bright light in the hall) and a nice warmer tone. Easy to fit too.

Way too bright, seriously I need sunglasses to look at this longer than 2 seconds. It's like having the sun in my bathroom. Other reviews say the same, so if that's your goal or if this is for a garage or workshop maybe this is great - but for a bathroom it's totally overkill. It's genuinely hard to look at directly, like looking at the sun on a clear day. Aside from that the profile is nice, not a great deal of room for a ceiling rose configuration and we had to cut into the ceiling to recess one, so a bit of. pain, but we're sending this right back for the brightness.

Love the minimalist design, but in my opinion too bright for living areas, I bought the 9inch for the hallway, even that is overkill. I put the 12inch in my living room and bedroom. Useful if you’re cleaning or renovating (which is what I’m doing) but most of the time, I won’t use them as they’re too bright. Looks good on the ceiling though.
