a little to strong of a pump for my needs
works great i have a 75 gallon tank with angel fish and its to much power for them. I need one thats around 250 gph instead. Its nice and compact i really wish i could use it. As far as noise level it was silent compared to my Aqqa wave maker. The suction is strong I installed the first time and almost couldn't get it back off when i wanted to move it. Instillation was a breeze, they did provide instructions just in case your confused. Its ease to take apart for maintenance, you just turn the front cover and propeller comes right out. For the price its a steal.

Cheap enough and last about a year
We have purchased 3 of these for our aquarium. They work good for about a year and then we buy another one. They are so cheap I don’t complain if we can get a year out of them.

Budget friendly aquarium equipment
I was skeptical of the quality of such an inexpensive circulation fan, especially considering some of the cheap quality I've experienced from much more expensive products/brands sold at the big box chain stores. In fact, I've traditionally bought Hydor Koralia ever since getting burned by other brands. With that being said, this is NOT on the same level of quality and performance of a Hydor, BUT it's certainly not bad though. For $10 to $15 you too can get a decent circulation fan for a mere fraction of the cost of a similar Hydor Koralia. No, it doesn't have the additional outside magnet mount featured on the Hydor but the internal suction cup mount is definitely sufficient. It lacks the bulbous shape and likewise the unique water dispersion capability of the Hydor, but it moves water nonetheless. It's quiet. It's attractive in appearance as much as utilitarian equipment can be considered attractive, and it's super cheap. You can easily buy three or four of these for the price of one Hydor and that, overall, is what makes this a supreme value.

So glad we bought it.
Prior to ordering I read the reviews. Many said that it didn't work for very long and that they had to re-purchase. I was sceptable about buying it, but our tank really needed movement to help with an algae we had. So I thought for the price I would just take my chances. We did a water change and unplugged the Wave Maker. When we replugged it in it did not work. OMW!!!! But I am here to tell you that my husband is brilliant :) he unplugged it again, pointed the Wave Maker down then plugged in again. TA DA it works. Then he adjusted it to where we needed it. Great little machine for the $. I do recommend. We now have 3 of them, 1 for each of our 60 gallon tanks. Not to much movement for the fish and it has helped with the algae issue.

The pump worked great for me
The pump worked great for me. Honestly was little strong for my 20 long and was pushing my toadstool polyps all in one direction. My biggest issue and the reason I'm giving 3 stars is the parts making the suction cup. The clip required to create the suction has broken on two units for me now when taking off to clean the pump and placing it back in the tank.

Glad I bought!
Ive had this product for almost 2 months now. I waited to write a review cause I wanted to have a honest opinion. Its pretty durable. The end slides out from time to time when your adjusting it but that i can handle. It does a great job keeping a steady flow moving in my 29 ³³gallon tall tank. I have a hang on back filter and since I have a tall tank the filter wasn't doing the best it could. This definitely helped keep my tank looking clean! Its pretty strong so I probably wouldnt put it in any small tanks cause it will def be way too much movement!

Great Little Pump
This is a very good pump at this price point. We have a 55-gallon marine aquarium and needed an extra pump to alleviate dead spots toward the front of the aquarium. The water flow is strong and the suction cup does a better job of stabilizing the unit than that of our pre-existing pump. It is easy to adjust the angle of flow without removing the unit from the aquarium wall. The pump runs smoothly and quietly, and allowed us to create that wave motion in conjunction with the other pump. We are totally satisfied and are planning a repeat purchase to replace the other pump (we are constantly re-attaching it to the side wall due to the poor suction of the attachment unit.)

good for mixing salt
I bought this item specifically for mixing salt in 5 gallon buckets and it does a pretty good job. when I'm doing water changes I just put this in the bucket and leave it for 30 minutes to do its thing. the suction is practically useless, it doesn't stay stuck. the build quality isn't the best, the blades got stuck after the first use and I had to move the blades with a knitting needle for them to start moving on their own. overall it's a good item for the price and a good little power head for mixing salt

This Wave maker stopped working after 2 days. I have tried to contact the seller few times and unable to get in touch. Bad quality

good wavemaker but broke down 3 weeks later and easily gets over heated.

Power is great for it's size and electricity consumption. Highly recommend. UPDATE: After a couple weeks of usage one problem is that it often runs backwards, meaning the propeller turns the wrong way. To fix this I have to turn it off and back on a couple of times. Lowering my rating from 5 to 3 stars.

La función que hace es correcta, tiene una capacidad pequeña por lo que quedó perfecta en mi pecera de 30gal. No crea corriente excesiva y hace que el agua tenga más circulación que solo con el filtro cascada.
