UPDATE: Y'all don't have to worry any longer. National Geographic covered a story about the Blue, Red, Pink and especially Purple sea monsters. The Black and Blue not so much. 100%! My first use I had a headache and neck pain. At first it was tender to the back of my head. I played around w knees down and then knees up. After about 8min my neck pain was gone and the headache was releasing. After 10 min no pain. I have herniation sat c4-5 and 5-6

It’s pretty firm. Like a very hard foam. The only “give” in it is through the design that has a little verticals movement.
