I’ve tried no-paper paper towels on Etsy and the products were meh. This Lola swedish dishcloths XL are more like reusable paper towels and I LOVE them!!!!! They aren’t thick like the smaller Swedish clothes that are more like super thin sponges. These are the size of a paper towel. They aren’t thick. They are made with wood pulp. I clean them in my dishwasher and they come out great! I couldn’t be happier and am gifting them to friends and family. They make clean up of anything great. We all need a little something new in our cleaning routine to make it a bit fun and this is it!

This Swedish dishcloth roll is such a smart and eco-friendly upgrade for my kitchen! The sheets are super absorbent, durable, and easy to tear off as needed. I love that they replace so many paper towels and can be reused multiple times. Stylish, practical, and great value—definitely a 5-star find!

As a dry paper towel off the roll this item is pretty useless - nonabsorbent and stiff. BUT once wetted down it becomes indestructible and I have used it as a cutting board with amazing success as well as mopping up spills and the like. You can cut it but it is very difficult. Machine washes well and has even survived the dryer.

Dishcloths are great because they dry quickly so there’s no mold or smell. They are soft & scratch resistant. The color is vibrant. They are very absorbent too.

These come in a tear off roll like paper towels. The reason I like these best is that they are larger than other brands and thinner which makes them more flexible for wiping, cleaning, and mop ups. I have only take four off the main roll so far, and they are quite sturdy and holding up to use well, have also used them with bleach water solutions and they did not disintegrate. Overall, these are the best I have purchased so far.

Updated review: While the towels are great, every time I buy them, the price literally doubles. First time, I spent about $13 for 30. Second time, I spent $24. This time, they are $39+!!!! When I need them again, they'll be $80 at the rate they're going. Sadly we will never buy these again and will instead buy more affordable options...because there are many. Shame on you, LOLA!!! I have had these towels for about an hour and a half now...and I cannot put them down!!!! They're amazing!!! I have wiped down every surface, including both dogs, and the first towel is still like new. I hand washed it after the dogs to see how it would hold up and it came out nearly spotless. We'll be buying these for years to come!!!

It is Spring 2020. For those reading this in the far future, you may remember this was the year for the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning people have been panic buying certain items. Paper towels are one of those items. Believe it or not, paper towels are equivalent to a brand new game console on Black Friday. You cannot find them anywhere. So I went online for a solution and found these. Now, my first question was "Why not just use dish towels or rags?" to replace the paper towels. I had plenty of both after all. I could use my old rags for the nasty spills, and the dish towels for regular spills/clean up/etc. Well, rather than just assume, I decided to bite the bullet and order a roll of Wowables. First impression is that they feel a lot like cardboard, but as soon as you get them damp or wet, they become flexible just like a paper towel. One sheet is all you need for most spills/wipe downs due to the spongy absorbancy. They clean up my countertops and stove nicely thanks to the ridges on one side. After use, I hand wash with a little dish soap and water. Any liquids/food debri picked up washes right out with ease leaving no stains at all. I then hang to dry. It takes only 2 hours at most to air dry, then I reuse. Lately, I can get away with using the same 2 sheets for the entire day. I also have a seperate bin beside my trash can for Wowables only, so for my lazy family members who don't want to hand wash I've instructed them to toss the sheets in there for me to machine wash with the towels later (yes, they're machine washable but NOT dryer safe, so remember that - hang to dry only). After the washing machine I hang dry, then fold and place in a basket on the counter top. As I said, when dry they are like stiff cardboard. I fold in half in the basket and then put a paper weight on top of the stack to flatten them. Works great! So going back to my first question. How are these no different than dish towels/rags? Well, for me it's mostly the spongy absorbancy! You pick up a spill with these and there is no dripping whatsoever. I also love the fact that they rinse out so easily and dry a lot faster than my dish towels would. My dish towels stain quickly, especially with grease/food. Wowables do NOT stain. I'm not sure how, but they don't. Why ruin my dish towels with ugly stains when I can use these instead? I also love the size, it's perfect for most jobs - just the same as your standard paper towel sheet (my dish towels are much larger and therefore annoying to use - small complaint here, I know, but it's just my honest opinion). Lastly, you're getting 30 sheets for twenty dollars! Compare that price to the price of 30 dish towels. I know, I know. You can cut up an old t-shirt, etc. if things get really bad. But again one of my favorite things about this is that spongy absorbancy that most towels/rags lack. Anyway, I'll let you be the judge. I'm honestly loving these. I plan to buy a second roll for the bathroom, in a different color. That's another thing I love about this brand - 4 color choices in case you are like me and prefer to keep the bathroom ones seperate from the kitchen ones. Overall, I am very happy with this brand. I hope they stay in business for many years.

Many likes, only 1 dislike, and that is they dry stiff.....that's fine, I'll get over it because soon as you wet them, they are like any wet cloth BUT ALSO SUPER absorbent!!! Regular sponges are to small and bulky in hand, these Wowables-30 on a roll! are Large....about 10X10, & thats a Wow LOL. They come in beautiful colors, so can dictate certain colors to bathroom or kitchen, laundry room, floor clean up, or not, whatever you fancy. I'm thrilled each one may last months, depending on how many people in your home & how you use them. You can put them in the dishwasher, or washing machine, but NO DRYER! I just soap them up to clean them in the sink. I decided to keep 2 going at once, one will kinda remain soapy and the other will be for wiping, as once soapy, takes a lot of rinsing to get all the soap out. I've read you can put it in micro for 1/2 min? to sanitize, or put in measuring cup & pour boiling water over it, & let it sit for 1 minute, as I don't have a micro. Can also use as a wet swiffer to clean your floors! Great on windows too, no lint! I originally bought the Coral, and went back for 3 other colors & also as gifts. I also like the smaller Swedish dishcloths as they come with some really beautiful designs/pictures which to me....makes cleaning more fun. Have a Blessed day!
