Works like a charm
Had my dog chew up the old sensors, wires were gone and sensor toasted! Ordered these, came with well informed instructions. Took me sometime through trial and error of find the correct wiring for my garage door model, now it opens and closes with out holding down the button to stay closed!

Very useful.
I had to order this because my dog (yeah, that's right) ate the ones I had in my garage door. Is very easy to install and works out of the box. The cost is worth the money. Will have to test how long will they last but they feel they are built very strong. I recommend them 100%.

It did not work and didn't arrive when promised
I paid an extra $5 (could have paid $15) to get it next day. Late the next day i got notified it would come the following day (when the $15 version could have arrived). I wired it up per scant instructions. No joy. To troubleshoot i wired it directly to the opener. I discovered that my old sensors both worked fine (I knew one was working), my new sensors i just bought did not work, and i had a wiring issue not a sensor issue. I fixed the wire where the mouse chewed and everything works fine. I would have used the new sensors to update, but they were inoperable. I have a Liftmaster about 7-8 years old. The description said they would

Thank You Reveiwers
My husband was quite frustrated with this product. Could not get the wiring straight, even tried to rewire the opener unit. Said the instructions were pretty sparse. I read several reviews to find out the wiring needed reversed. Success. Working replacement for our 20-year-old Craftsman opener. The sensors were dirty, and one was taped up and had a bad solder. Thank you, reviewers.

Wiring is incorrect. Wire black/white with white and it will turn the sensors on.
The sensors work great! After trial and error I went back to the comment section to learn that the wiring is incorrect.I too wired it up to black/white with black/white and white with white.I later switched the wiring around. White with black/white. And the made the sensors turn on.Had to adjust the nut a little to get them perfectly lined up. But after doing so everything worked as it should.

fixed fail to close issue
I was having an intermittent issue with my Liftmaster 8500 jackshaft door operator. Both of the original safety sensors were lit and apparently functional, but they would randomly and unpredictably flake out for a fraction of a second and cause the door to reverse when closing. Since the diagnostic lights were always illuminated, I tried many things before these sensors. I wish I would have ordered these months ago as they completely eliminated this frustrating sporadic failure. The new sensors include mounting brackets and waterproof pinch connectors. The pinch connectors are nice for the fine wire used with safety sensors.

Not compatible
This is the second set of these sensors and they don’t light up when connected. Exact part number as the original sensor for Lift Master 8550 Elite but do not recognize or respond to the power head .

Garage doors senior quality excellent
This garage door sensor is very good. I installed it without any problems. It can adapt to most garage doors. The quality is very good.
