TOTO® WASHLET® KC2 Electronic Bidet Toilet Seat with Heated Seat and SoftClose Lid, Elongated, Cotton White - SW3024#01

I never would’ve thought that I would be writing a review for a toilet seat, but here we are. This thing is awesome and I had to share! I didn’t know what I had been missing all these years. Only issue is since we’ve installed it I have noticed my family spends more time in the bathroom… A friend of ours has a bidet / washlet and is always talking about it, even at dinner (awkward I know right?). So I decided to do some research even if it was just so I could have a knowledgeable conversation with him about it (LOL). Turns out after doing some research, seems people other than my friend really love these things so I decided I would give it a shot. Now I didn't want to spend too much on this but I also didn't want to get a cheap unit from a company I'd never heard of before. That's what lead my to this unit from Toto. Also the other challenge I ran into is we have a Kohler Santa Fe toilet and the bowl on it is curved so there was some concern that these units may not even fit on my toilet. But this KC2 unit looked like it would fit and had some nice features so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. The install was really easy. The seat has a nice adjustable plate that makes it simple to fit on different sized toilets. With a little adjustment, the seat fits great on my Santa Fe as you can see in the pictures. The only issue I had was my bathtub is real close to our toilet so hooking up the water line was a tight fit. After one trial and error (with a leak), I decided to connect the water line and the washlet line to the adapter first, the screw the adapter to the bowl. That solved the problem and to me was an easier way to do it. It took me just about 35 minutes from the time I started the install to the time I was able to wet and warm my backside. The heated seat is an awesome feature especially in the winter. The water spraying on my under carriage, well that takes some getting used to. It still surprises me every time even though I know it's coming. But it works great once you get comfortable with it. The washlet has some nice features to that you can change the pressure and temperature of the water to your liking. There is also a drying feature that helps dry you off a little. There is even a special cleaning feature for the ladies! The only other thing is the seat is a little smaller than I'm used to but it's not bad and is real comfortable to sit on. So in the end, I'm surprised how much I like this washlet. But I really do. We stayed in a hotel over the weekend, and I'm embarrassed to say I missed my toilet seat (LOL). Just feel fresher and cleaner during the day and have not had any chaffing now that I'm using a lot less toilet paper during the week. I'm looking forward to talking toilet seats with my friends at dinner now!

Install was very easy, although the instructions were a bit hard to follow. No leaking or issues with the water hook up. I had bought an extra adapter just in case, but didn't need it, everything fit together great. Total install time (including a deep clean of the toilet and clean up after install) was about an hour. This was my first bidet seat (or bidet of any kind), but my research showed this was a good brand and a good model. I have not been disappointed even a little bit. Very easy to use, about a minute of futzing around with it was all it took to understand the controls. All the features are great; heated seat, temp controlled air, position and pressure adjustments, and a non slamming lid (I wasn't expecting this feature but really like it.) I can confidently recommend this model, everything about it has been great.

Works great!! We had a handyman/electrician do the installation. We needed an electrical outlet near the toilet. Be sure to factor that in when purchasing the Toto Washlet. Excellent product.

The Toto Washlet is good but not a life changer. Pros Cons It's nice to be able to wash your butt. Expensive. Air drying is very pleasant. The spray is not strong enough The warm seat is comfortable. Hot water runs out quickly. The warm water is a nice touch. The spray does not cover enough of your butt. Installation is straight forward. Can't lean back. The seat top does not permit this. If I were to buy a bidet again I might opt for a simpler one which hooks directly to the water so I could get higher pressure. My wife likes it more than I do.

Easy installation. Has performed as described

I don't know how I've made it this far in life before buying this thing. I really wanted a TOTO bidet after using one in Japan, and I'm happy they sell this one with American style plug. After using it for several months, I can easily say this is one of the best home improvements I've ever made. The water temperature heater and seat heater are very nice touches that function great and are reliable. The water tank stays warm for about 15-20 seconds at max pressure before turning cold. The micro adjustable recepticle is a nice touch. The fanning and pulsing features are also next level. Lets just say that what used to take 10+ rounds of wipes now only takes 2. My only complaint is that I hate answering nature's call away from home now.

I usually do not leave negative reviews unless there is a serious issue with the product. However, this time I have to leave a very negative review for both the product and the seller. First, the product is very difficult to install, and the screws are not stable at all. After installation, there was a leak. When we tried to tighten the screw a little more to stop the leak, the screw broke. Second, I returned this product within the allowed time, and guess what? The seller charged me more than half of the product price as a restocking fee. This is ridiculous. The product clearly has quality issues, and I returned it on the second day after receiving it. Now you are charging me half of the purchase price for restocking? That is completely unreasonable. Instead of trying to make money through excessive restocking fees, you should focus on improving the quality of your product.I hope my experience will warn other customers to think twice before buying this product.

Fit on a round toilet, but please be advised a round seat is a different order number.

Was installing unit and all was going well but noticed the seat was not sitting properly on the bowl. Closer inspection revealed that the feet on the seat that rest on the bowl were different heights causing the seat to wobble. I guess the odd one comes out a little deformed. I could have probably evened them out with some sort of foam spacer and glue if it was a cheap one but at $550 I decided to just return it.
