Q: Just to be sure, as it is 70/100, if I want to use for anything pressured less than 70, will it stop at 70 not letting me keep running?

the pressure will stop between 70-100 mine stops around 80 they do make them to a lower pressure.

Previous answer is not correct. You can wire this in series with the on/off switch of the compressor and it will work. That is exactly the purpose of the switch. The on/off switch is connected to a control board which is low power. The relay for the compressor motor (which is the high power draw) is built into the controller.
