Protector for youth baseball catchers
Son had a bruise on his hand in playing catcher for both recreation and travel baseball this season. A parent mentioned this product that she purchased to help her daughter in playing catcher for softball team. Son uses this in games to help protect his catching hand. Very pleased with it.

Would recommend - we permanently installed this guard inside my son's catcher's mitt.
We installed this thumb guard inside my son's catcher's mitt permanently. It works well, and my son says it feels like it is doing a good job of protecting his thumb. I found that after I boiled it and molded it to his thumb (and the inside of his mitt) that it has held its shape well (it has been installed there for over a year now).My son is in high school and regularly receives pitches, as catcher, in excess of 90 mph (to give you an idea of the environment it is used in).We are going to get him a new backup mitt here shortly, and I am likely to buy another one of these for that mitt.

Easy to mold and does exactly what it is supposed to do. The small/medium is the right fit for my 13 year old boy’s hand, and he is on the bigger side for his age.
