Perfect Fit For A Singer 221K or 222K Featherweight Sewing Machine
I've bought generic LED bulbs with the B15 mount before for a Singer 221K, but experienced difficulty inserting them into a Singer; however, they did fit other machines. I understand that the tolerances of the relatively small bulb holder of the Singer machines require fairly well-made bulbs that work well with the tolerances required. I came across these bulbs in April 2026, which fitted fine, and I bought some more in August 2026 because they were a known quantity. Some sewing machine spare parts sites are selling suitable bulbs at ยฃ14 each, which makes these a bargain. As for working with this bulb, it is brighter, whiter, and thermally cool in operation. Singer, as a company, was limited in terms of the power of the original incandescent bulbs, which would have run hotter if they had fitted brighter bulbs. With LED bulb technology, this constraint no longer applies.

Great bulbs that stay cool
Fits my 1970s New Home (Janome) sewing machines perfectly. The light bulb hatches stayed cool too. I am not sure of the longevity but I am very pleased with them. The bulbs gives a nice calm cool light. I would definitely buy again

Let there be light!
Love my sewing machine, but the bulb blew a couple years ago and I couldnโt figure out how to change the bulb, yes I did Google it! Finally couldnโt take the hassle of having have an extra lamp plugged in whenever I needed to sew. Looked up the bulbs and found these were the cheapest AND you get one spare! Perfectly packaged with a little protection thing, slotted them in place and voila! Nice and bright! I feel to switch on the sewing machine just to turn the light on. Delivery was super fast too. Defo recommend :)
