Wow this stuff works great
We make a lot of fires in our fireplace in the fall, winter, and cooler spring nights. My standby used to be to use a fake log (Duraflame) to start the fire and then add wood. Now I can skip right to dabbing a little paste on the wood and lighting. This stuff normally burns long and hot enough for pretty much any of the wood to catch. And a tube of this lasts for quite a long time. I'll spend a few bucks on this versus $16 for a box of Duraflame logs any day.

This Stuff is awesome. It burns hot and it lasts
This Stuff is awesome. It burns hot and it lasts. The tube is poor quality though, and gets damaged easily, so you have to baby the tube.

this stuff is awesome! A little goes along way
Wow! this stuff is awesome! A little goes along way, this tub will last me years. It is perfect for wet wood. I take this with me every time I go on a overnight camp. The reason why I bought this was because I saw it in a Steve Rinella book as some of the equipment he take with him. I had never heard of this stuff before but im glad I got it. Since ive taken it with me on overnight trips, most people that i meet talk about the paste and end up having some of their own the next time that I see them.

Too much air in tube
The product is good; however, when I opened the tube, a big woosh of air escaped and only a little over half of the tube contained the actual ingredients.

Squeeze Tube, Light Fire. Even Works On Water
If you want to see how well this works, put water in a cup, squeeze some onto the surface of the water, and light it. Congratulations, you've just set water on fire. OK, the water won't burn but the paste will burn even on top of water. In a more practical application, I put kiln-dried wood in a fire pit, squeezed a line onto a log lengthwise, and lit a big fire without any kindling at all. It was drizzling too. It just works. I like that you don't have to worry about keeping it dry.

Works as advertised.
This product works pretty well. I used to use it to start the majority of my campfires quickly (I won't use gasoline or Coleman fuel, as I have personally witnessed a tragic accident). But lately I've just been carrying a tube for backup and another in an emergency kit that I put together. This stuff will last for years. I found a tube that had to be close to 15 years old, and it still worked as if it was freshly purchased. A great product that works as it is intended.

Great stuff
I keep a tube of this in my camping bag and had to use it for the first time in the mountains of North Carolina. Everything was wet and couldn't get my fire going, after 30 minutes I gave up and put a line of Fire Ribbon on a piece of wood, lit it up and BAM! I was in business. I highly recommend this stuff for those times where all the skill in the world won't help you.
