Discovery Kids Cardboard Play Castle

I ordered this castle for 4 Great-grandchildren ages 8,6,5 and 2 for their post-Christmas visit to "Granny's house". It was a HUGE success! Since Granny's House is definitely "old school" (no x-box, internet or robots) this took the kids back to a simpler time and remarkably, it worked! (A large assortment of washable markers removed the possibility of fights over 1 red marker since there were many of each color.)The castle was easy to assemble. It took one adult about 10 minutes to have it set up and ready for action. One recommendation I would make is to have heavy duty duct tape on hand - the drawbridges take a beating - especially at the hands of a 2-year old.The castle was remarkably sturdy. After two full days of coloring there was still space for more artwork so the castle was boxed up and taken home with the crew.If I could buy 10 of these castles, I would!

My daughter loves this castle and it has been holding up well to pretty much daily abuse from a 3 year old for the past couple of months. The only thing that I had to "fix" for her was the door since she couldn't seem to figure out that you can't stand on the door while trying to close it. The doors lay out flat when open and I think older kids wouldn't find the doors as much of an obstacle as my just turned 3 daughter did. I just poked a couple holes through the door and side wall and then attached a string to it so that she could actually open/close the doors like a drawbridge from the inside. Once I made that modification it has become her own little fort that she hides from the "dragon" dog in.

This is the second one I've purchased ! I bought one for my nephew for his birthday a couple of years back and he loved it so much and played with it everyday that it finally just wore out. He asked me if I could get him another one, so I did !! He's had hours of fun in his castle. He loved coloring it and it was sturdy enough to last a couple of years of daily use. You can't beat that !

Lots of Fun! But if your going to color it? Buy a TON of markers or crayons. It is heavy duty cardboard...so it will not last forever....but my 2 yr old grandson loves his!

Bought it as a gift. Young recipient loves it!

So fun! It won't last too long, but a perfect addition to a 3 year-old princess party.

Great product for the kids on a rainy day. Easy to build and sturdy.

Bought this as a present for a 3 year old and she and her 5 year old brother both enjoyed it! So fun getting to color their castle then climb in and hide stuff in it!
