The little pot that tree comes in is about 6 inches (height) x about 6 inches (width). I think the decorative pot I placed it in is about 10 inches (height) x 8 inches (width).

Q: What size container would fit this?

It comes in like a 6 inch pot I put it in with the original pot in a larger basket.
