i use it as the 3rd stage for under kitchen sink so really no sediment coming to it. I just like the extra protection and the low cost and that it lasts a YEAR as a 3rd stags and is activated carbon block. I particularly like that they state that it removes organic chemicals even though the first 2 stages advertise to do that too, as the last stage before drinking I wanted this last assurance. The really good part is that I noticed no pressure drop from the previous 3rd stage filter I had that was advertised as the same quality from a top brand name, but this one was about 1/2 the price so I bought 2. I especially like that as a 3rd stage filter it is rated to last a year which the others did not list as such. Would buy again. BTW, the water tastes very clean and fresh --> :-)

Great filters!
First shipment was poorly packed by Amazon staff and was damaged. I returned them with no issues and the second shipment was packed better but not by much. At least they weren’t broken. These are carbon filters are fragile and really shouldn’t be banged about. I use 1 spun poly sediment and two of these carbon before the membrane on our R.O. Filter system as well as a carbon finishing filter before the storage tank. Great clean good tasting water! Beats the expense of buying water and much cleaner than most bottled water.

Bad packaging
This is a good filter, I have used it before. But all the filters I ordered were thrown into a box with no padding and they arrived all banged up.

Both ends of filter not attached
Just got this replacement filter today, both ends of the filter are not attached. You can see where the glue is, it just didn’t stick. Installed anyways since I had the ro system apart. Not great usa quality.
