What the recommend age for it?

There really is no set age. As Ling as your baby is able to hold his or her head without any assistance. I will say though, if your baby is chunkier he/she will get stuck lol

Is this product entirely BPA free?

No it’s not I read all the tags on the seat and toys, but it is very easy to take apart to clean and wash. I do it once a week and I recommend washing/ drying on delicate.

What size batteries does it take

The Learn-to-Sit 2-position Floor Seat does not require batteries.
