It works but the battery was dead on the DJI handheld unit so I could never really test it

Excellent replacement or supplemental cable
This cable is exactly what I needed to replace my charging cable for my Dji Osmo (first gen). Very pleased with the performance.

It works well -measure the voltage on your current cable.
the cable that came with my Osmo was defective. I realized this when I measured the voltage at the tip of the plug and it was only 3.2 Volts instead of 6 Volts. Measure from the tip to the base of the plug (tip =1, then 2nd contact, third contact, then base). This now charges the device.
