I used this to punch a hole in my gunite pool because my terrible pool builder forget to put in a pool overflow. My gunite pool is half wall/ground. I had to drill into brick and then 8" of gunite. I was able to do the job in about 15 minutes. The only issue i had was the actual length. It is correct in the length of 22" but the drillable length is only about 18.5". So, if you need more than 18.5" you will need something else.

Drilled roughly 20 holes in ledgerock before carbide came off. Was disappointed until I read other reviews indicating this is on par performance for economy drills.

Been using to drill out an 18" deep foundation, 6" wide. The length is ideal for using with my SDS Max rotary hammer/drill. It has held up well to the heavy use.

Only used this bit a couple of times so far. It works great. Installing t-posts in solid blue rock. This bit effortlessly drills 16” deep holes just the right size that you can knock a standard t-post in easy with a hammer, not a lot of force involved, the weight of the drill and this bit is all the force needed to grind out a 16” deep hole in blue rock in about 3 min, it dosent snag or twist much,and the little there was, was easily controlled, time will tell how well it holds up

We have used this bit several times and it's still acts as if it's brand new.

Worked for 5 holes. After about 30 seconds to 1 minute of drilling I would give the bit a break to cool down. After the 5th hole the bit was rounded off and not cutting.
